Some appliances did not work But we have to clean on arrival We’re afraid to use the washing machine

I was provided with all of the information needed by the owner to get to and open the apartment. We arrived to find our 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment clean and ready for the 3 of us. Clean towels were provided, and we quickly made use of them by taking nice, warm showers; our first in a few days. As soon as we finished showering, we realized the natural gas tank was now empty. I contacted the owner and she apologized and said it would be taken care of right away. She also advised us that the front bathroom shower was heated by electricity, so we were never really without hot water if needed. A man from Solgas arrived 45 minutes later with a replacement tank, and we were good to go. The apartment was very nicely furnished, with a comfortable living room and an enclosed balcony just off the living room. The balcony had a small table and 2 chairs where we enjoyed our coffee/tea in the morning. The kitchen was equipped with all the plates, silverware, and pots and pans needed for preparing meals. It also had a washing machine and drying rack. We were on the 5th floor, which gave us a nice view of the city ahead and to our left, with the ocean in the distance to our right. The apartment is also located close to everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. A Wong grocery store was 150 meters away, excellent restaurants were 300 meters away and Kennedy Park was across the street 400 meters away. And for those that really miss the US, there was a Chili’s restaurant on the next corner, and a McDonalds and Burger King across from Kennedy Park. Overall, highly recommended!
