Luxury Apartment New Street Birmingham

The property cancelled on me, 40 Mins before our agreed check in time. I am still waiting for a refund or any communication as to where my money has gone??

See above…. We had to find 2 separate hotels on the night of a huge event in the city because of the late cancellation which cost us more than £150 than original booking.

DONT BE FOOLED BY THE PICTURES! THERE ARE HIDDEN COSTS!! AND IT STINKS OF DRAINS ON ENTERING THE BLOCK Luckily, it doesn't smell in the apartment. GET THIS>>>>>extra £20 each person over a group of 2 ...so we had to pay an extra £60 above the origional cost... (Even though it does sleep 6, there were 5 of us), and the beds are so uncomfortable and tiny. We were confirmed to check in early as per the email from booking.com. However, on the day before, we were told it was an extra £10 per hour we wanted to check in!! So we had to pay another £20 just to check in at 12 instead of 2 pm!! Then, we got messaged and asked for a £200 deposit, which was not mentioned when booking until we looked at the small print. BOOKING.COM should really consider putting all these costs at the top of the apartments page!!!! We got messaged on the day of checking out and told if anything is left on, we would be charged £20 so we had to go round unplugging everything. We also turned up to sick outside the apartment block, which was disgusting every time you entered the front door of the block.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was fantastic, very central. The host communicated well and was helpful.

The collection of the key was an issue - the location of which was a 10-minute walk so difficult for those with mobility issues. I feel this needs to be addressed.

Amazing location for a good price - Especially split across a few friends. The host was helpful and answered any questions I had quickly and politely. The flat was exactly as pictured. Clean and cosy, with plenty of space for us. Amazing looking balcony overlooking the Christmas market.

Bit of a runaround to get the keys to access the building, but understandable due to location. I also wish some of the fees were included in the initial bill rather than additional.

Absolutely stank of weed, I couldn’t stay at the property. Had to find alternative accommodation for the night.

Uninhabitable with the smell of weed
