Tasteful 1-bedroom Apartment near Edinburgh Meadows

Very close to town. Bus literally at front door. Spacious with lovely street views, and was adequate for our stay to explore Edinburgh. Finding milk in the fridge was a very nice surprise. Cafe Grand downstairs serves very nice home cooked meals which was very welcomed at the end of a long day.

When booking the apartment, I didn't realise how many stairs we had to climb at the end of each day - 3 flights (24 stairs in each flight.)

The location is superb! A 30 minute walk into the centre of town or there's a bus stop right outside the main front door. The area around the accommodation has great facilities for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The location has a great vibe, not too busy but great atmosphere. It was a perfect place to be after the bustle and busy town area.

There was nothing to be fair but worth mentioning that if you have mobility issues then this is not the place to stay as there are flights of stairs to climb to get to the flat. it wasn't a problem for us.

Lovely , large flat in a great location. Very helpful team in the office. Wonderful flowers and shortbread.

Quite expensive. Bed was too soft and low with no mattress protector or pillow protectors so I felt they were unhygienic.

Good location - safe, quiet, beautiful neighbourhood with supermarket, cafes, restaurants, gift shops, bakery, etc just around the corner / bus stop outside the building / old city at close proximity, nice walk to Royal Mile Wonderful apartment - comfortable, quiet, warm, spacious and bright, nicely decorated and well equipped Host support - clear check-in and check-out instructions / always available to provide steer / helpful guide on what to see/do in Edinburgh / very much appreciated that I was able to store my luggage at their offices on the day of my departure

No elevator - heavy luggage not easy to carry up to the 3rd floor

At least 5 places to grab breakfast right by the front door so no problem.

I’m pretty sure the ad said it was 3 flights up. So, okay. The price was right. I have stairs at my house. 12 steps up and down to the basement. There were 75 steps up and 75 steps down to enter and exit the flat. EXHAUSTING. Daily. Edinburgh is hilly and full of steep inclines as it is. The stairs really gave us middle aged ppl a strain. Did I mention daily? The shower was poorly engineered and soaked the entire vicinity. The neighbors below may be looking at a ceiling replacement soon. The tile in the shower could use a good scrubbing- from 3 feet down. We did not cook but the kitchen is wonky. Half of the outlets did not work. Never did figure out how to turn on the dimmer lights in the kitchen. You could perform surgery there with the main light.

Perfect location (very close to University and old town). Very cosy appartement, well equipped with amazing view. Will come back !

Location was fantastic with a bus stop immediately outside. Great communication from owners. Felt like a family home not a holiday rental. Really comfy bed. Very spacious apartment. Everything you could want for a break away. Restaurants and supermarket opposite. Although on a main street, the area was quiet and there was no noise in the building. Would definitely recommend this property and would try and stay here again if we needed accommodation in Edinburgh. So much to see, but wear comfy shoes!

Everything was perfect

Lovely apartment in a really nice area. Everything was just like described. The apartment is fully furnished with everything you need to prepare meals. The added value is the position: the area is really calm and nice but perfectly connected to the city center (bus stop immediately downstairs).

The location was perfect it made our trip! We loved that it was on the outskirts so we could explore more of Edinburgh. It was so easy to just google buses and hop on with the bus stop being outside it took 10 mins ish to get into the main centre.

We loved absolutely everything about this stay but the one thing that was a bit of a letdown was the bed, we felt that it could do with a mattress topper and slightly thinner pillows but everything else was perfect!
