ConVivo Apartment Palazzo Galateo

Great location.

Not very cozy and not very clean. Only one double bed convenient to sleep.

After receiving my confirmation I had contact from my host, Emanuele and made my way to the property after arriving by train from Bari, a 15 minute walk through the beautiful streets of Lecce. Once arrived Emanuele met me outside and we entered through the main entrance into a small courtyard and headed to a frosted, glazed door then up the stairs to another door and into the large living / dining room. From there we turned left into the kitchen area which had sufficient cooking and cleaning area with a fridge freezer too and through a door onto a small front terrace with a beautiful view along the street which was directly above the main entrance gate. To the left and up more steps and out onto a large roof terrace with seating and also a large table and awning with beautiful views both day and night of the rooftops and sunset in one direction and the duomo in the other. Once back in the living room we went along the hallway and into a spacious bedroom with a large double bed, which I found incredibly comfortable, storage and a window out onto a small inner courtyard. The boiler and an outside sink were here and I also found it a nice sanctuary for my afternoon coffee, too. At the end of the hallway was a well proportioned shower room and very modern and new, by the looks of it. My other host Valentina was in contact with information on the city and is also a private tour guide, too, I’ll take advantage when I return of your offer and Lecce, itself, is a truly beautiful, historic city with incredible incredible baroque buildings and so many places to eat or stop and people watch with coffee or an aperitivo… I found the apartment incredible but it suited my needs in what I found to be a perfect location, a convenient shop is just around the corner, too. Many thanks to my hosts and the beautiful city that is Lecce.

A brilliant stay! Perfect hosts - Emanuele was always a WhatsApp away to ask any questions and has excellent local knowledge. He provided exceptional food & drink recommendations and his wife Valentina was great at providing tips on where to visit! Accommodation - Beautiful large apartment with private rooftop terrace. Everything you could need and in a great location just a few minutes walk within the beautiful old town to main old town restaurants & shops. Really was the perfect stay and lovely hosts! Grazie 😊

Pretty much everything. Wonderful, attentive hosts with excellent suggestions on places to eat and have an aperitivo. Beautiful apartment with private rooftop terrace. 5-star stay!

Minor quibbles: more countertop space and extension cords in kitchen. My wife hit her head on a cabinet several times. These quibbles did not affect the enjoyment of our stay.
