For a very cheap price, I had my own apartment with a bed/sitting room, kitchen, shower room/toilet and outdoor courtyard with a little set of wooden steps if you want to see out over the walls. There's free Wi-Fi too. Located in the local small town of Aourir. It's about 15km from the tourist hub of Agadir and easily accessible by bus or taxi one you get used to how they operate. I was much happier with this than if I'd stayed in Agadir as it felt much more like 'being in Morocco'. The host was very helpful and I would advise (as he offered to do) that you ask him to arrange a taxi for you as the apartment is accessed along an alley off the main street and he can co-ordinate with the driver and meet you there. The host messaged me several times during the trip to enquire if there was anything I needed and was accessible via WhatsApp any time if I had questions. Everything was cheap as I was in a local town and I enjoyed the experience of trying the local tea, food and hospitality with a heavy dose of haggling. The morning call to prayer from the local mosque provided an early alarm clock and was repeated another 4 times throughout the day. You can of course book your own taxi as I did to get to the property, but I enjoyed trying the local transport which included being wedged onto a local bus and hanging on to whatever I could, then banging on something to indicate that I wanted the next stop, or sharing the taxis with the locals. For the trip into Agadir, the bus worked out at around 45 pence in GBP and the taxi contribution averaged 10 dirham or less (around 80 pence) although adding a generous tip never cost more than about £3.

The room had a flatscreen TV on the wall which I was unable make use of but that might just be me, and besides, I had internet access for my devices if I wanted to watch anything at night. I thoroughly enjoyed the authenticity of the town and can't really say that there was anything I didn't like but if you're expecting a beachfront view and somewhere to get drink on an evening, you might be better off in Agadir.

Franchement, le logement était parfait. Le personnel est très accueillant et très gentil. Le logement est vraiment pas cher pour la qualité de l’appartement . Je recommande à tout le monde.

La distance par rapport à la ville d'Agadir

The little outdoor patio Lovely views. The large TV. Unspoilt working Moroccan town, minimal tourism. Lovely Moroccan decor. Enough equipment in the kitchen ( maybe scissors, wine bottle opener and sharp knife would be perfect) Reasonable shower. Close to lots of traditional, local cafes, bakeries and street sellers. Lovely unspoilt beach 15 mins walk. Very regular bus service (No31)to Agadir 5.5 DM, stop 200m away. Does stop early around 20.00. Lovely long walk along the coast path to tagazout (starts on the edge of the unspoilt beach). Anza lovely local village to visit. Very inexpensive to eat out. Fresh large fish and steak for two 120dm.

Mattress felt like springs have gone, too soft and noisy. 3rd floor, so good views but 50± steps. Cockerels and donkeys "singing" through the night. Ears plugs advised. Some dogs too. It is in the middle of a traditional working town, with few tourist facilities. Great walk to tagazout. Limited or difficult walk the other way to Anza. Limited footpaths through the town, so have to walk on busy road.
