GBGBI loved the amount of space available. We had enough room for all of us, and my daughter really enjoyed having a room to herself. It is a great location, loads of shops around and the motorway is not far at all, so it makes it easy for getting around. Gated carpark, which is fantastic, but there are also plenty of spaces around for street parking, which was very nice. Cameron is a great host, and nothing was ever too much for him.

GBThe lounge was nice. The host was very friendly when there was a problem with the cleanliness of the sheets. He arrived with new sheets within 30 minutes of me reporting the problem.
THE CLEANLINESS! As soon as we arrived I noticed the front door had a new lock and the door needed painting. First impressions count. As instructed we took our shoes off at the bottom of the stairs to “keep the place nice.” The first thing I saw was the freezer door open. Ice had defrosted, refrozen. Ice was on the floor. I tried to clear it up to be able to shut the door. No success.Had to leave the door open. We weren’t able to put our freezer blocks in for our return trip. I went to wash my hands in the downstairs toilet. No hand towel, just a face cloth. I wanted to check the sheets. I pulled the very fluffy unsuitable duvets back. Not hygienic to wash inbetween guests. I was disgusted to see blood stains and black hairs on the very creased single bed sheets. I informed the host. He was most apologetic and arrived within 30 minutes with brand new sheets. I was concerned that although they were new, the duvet covers and pillows had been on the dirty sheets. It just didn’t feel clean to sleep on. The single bed bases were the wrong size for the mattresses by a large amount.. I’d never seen that in any place around the world that I had rented. Too long and too narrow for the bases. The window blinds were broken letting in the street lights. No mirror. I went to give my grandson a bath. It had not been cleaned. Soap scum and black hairs around the edge. I had to clean the bath before I could use it. The toilet rim had pubic hairs on the rim. The bin hadn’t been emptied in the bathroom. Dirty towels still in the washing basket. No plug in the bathroom sink. Double bedroom window blinds were broken. There was no bedside table. Just a light on the floor by the window. Switched on, with no bulb in it. The oven was repulsive, it needed a very deep clean. The shelves in the fridge were sticky with food in there from a previous guest. The pans were covered in grease. The balcony wood is covered in green. Slippery. Blinds in the lounge needed a good dust.
