"Wonderful stay for couples that enjoy exploring nature"

Lovely location, private and calming. The hut was very modern and clean. Close enough to the village and an easy quick drive to a big local town, but far enough away to feel secluded and in nature

It wasn't a big deal at all. However there were some power lines that ran overhead (which buzz) that sometimes distracted from the nature

"Perfect cosy hideaway"

Communications with Paula and Craig were great up to and including our stay. They were on hand for anything we needed, including an iron and ironing board for my shirt! The comprehensive welcome pack, sent beforehand, had every piece of information that we could possibly need. The hut was so beautifully and carefully thought out - a place for everything and everything in its place. As well-rated Air BnB hosts ourselves our expectations were rather high - they were met fully. Clean, cosy, well equipped and full of characterful little touches such as the colourful plates, strip lighting, mini bluetooth speaker, torches, walking sticks, local nostalgic wall decor and cute toiletries. The grounds are gorgeous too with swings in the trees, fish in the natural pond (lake?) and lots of huge dragonflies.I could go on but it would just be more gushing. The perfect cosy hideaway.

There was nothing we disliked.

Wonderful retreat in a lovely part of Kent. We arrived and automatically felt relaxed. The hut as lots of lovely luxuries which make the stay even more special. We would love to come back.

We had the most amazing couple of days stay at Mountbatten. The shepherd hut is spotless, cosy and has everything you will need. the breakfast basket is a real added bonus and very generous. The area outside of the hut is private, peaceful and a great space to relax. the hosts are approachable and friendly but not at all intrusive. We would highly recommend staying here and will definitely be returning.
