Location, great views and vehicle parking

Beautiful terraces and lovely outdoor space with wonderful views. The upstairs terrace happily seats six. This property would be ideal for two couples with two children each (but not too young because all exits lead onto very busy roads). The broken shower was fixed quickly.

The site says four bedrooms and three bathrooms with shower and bidet. However, one bedroom is only just big enough for bunk beds and the twin room is tiny (it’s not possible to push them together), and the door doesn’t close. More importantly, there are only two bathrooms with showers: one upstairs and one downstairs. The remaining “bathrooms” are just toilets with sinks. The kitchens have a slightly weird array of items, including a lot of plastic throwaway stuff and broken items. We think there may be a problem with the upstairs flat drains as it is a bit smelly. To get to the beach you have to walk along a very busy road. Ditto to the cable car station. There are parking spaces for two cars, but getting into the parking area can be a bit treacherous! This is more of an issue with Italian drivers than the apartments, but it’s worth knowing if you are coming with children.

The view is truly unmatched! Great location and view point in Taormina. Very helpful staff and quick/frequent communication.

Although view and location were perfect, the villa’s upkeep and interiors/amenities didn’t match the price per night to comparable boutique hotel/home stay locations in Sicily we also stayed at.
