Awelfa a peaceful cottage in the Cambrian mountains

A wonderful cottage nestled between pastures and mountains, ideally located within an hour and a half of everything you need: beach, snowdonia, town, supermarkets and bars. The host is patient with all the details to ensure your stay, with full amenities and a spacious yard for relaxing at the end of the day! We were soaked to the skin in the rain while climbing snowdon, and the fireplace in our room reset us.

The most amazing place we have ever stayed....... Absolutely beautiful home, perfect location, the hosts thought of absolutely everything, down to ensuring we knew about the local area, Gomer the amazing next door neighbour, and even leaving plenty of bird food so we could sit and watch the amazing variety of wildlife visit the garden! There was absolutely everything and more inside and outside of the the property, beautifully decorated and furnished..... Lovely open fire place in the living room which was just lovely! An amazing garden with lots of space, lighting, an orchard packed with fruit and a wonderful chimnea which we used on one of the evenings and had a great bbq!! I cannot fault this place and we will definitely be staying again before the new year if we can!!!! If you are lucky enough to stay at this property please pop next door and introduce yourself to Gomer...... He is an amazing man, lots of local knowledge as he has lived in Llanbrynmair for forever!!! He loves to chat and it made his day when me and my youngest had a good natter with him over the garden gate ❤️

There was nothing we didn't like!!

It was a very lovely stay at Llanbrynmair. The hosts have provided everything you need to make your stay very comfortable. Lovely living area with Smart TV and WIFI. Kids enjoyed a lot watching their favourite movies. Modern Kitchen, Bathroom and the beds are very comfortable too. Beautiful views from the bedrooms. Outside living areas are amazing and you can spend the evenings in calm and quiet atmosphere. Our dog Bella loved watching the sheep over the fence at the back of the house and that was her favourite spot :) The Hafran Forrest, the Llyn Clywedog reservoir and the Old Lead Mine are situated 15-20 mins away from the cottage. There are two small groceries nearby but would recommend to stock up if you need more varieties. Very responsive hosts who have gone an extra mile to make your stay a very memorable one.
