Family-Friendly Condo Units at Matina Enclaves

The condo's location was convenient, with shopping malls and restaurants close by. The security was excellent, and the place felt very safe.

What really let me down was that the condo didn't match what was shown in their website ad. The facilities were quite basic, and items in the kitchen—like the rugs and frying pans—were old and unimpressive. The power points for appliances needed repair, and the bedding was below standard. There was no regular cleaning service, so I had to do the cleaning myself. The only thing that met expectations was the air-conditioning unit, which worked perfectly.

The location was close to SM mall and other eating places. The unit itself was cosy, spacious, comfortable and quiet. The option to cook simple meals was available.

The electric kettle did not work. TV channels selection and reception was poor. The toilets did not have any soap, toothpaste, toothbrush and toilet paper.

Good location, quiet compound, polite staff. Excellent pool. I was most happy with the kitchen. I had to provide for my own dishwashing liquid but that's a small thing (would be nice if this was already provided for, though).

The bathroom door doesn't close. I have seen that this feedback was already provided for by previous guests but they seem to have not addressed this issue. There was no toilet paper provided when I got there and I had to ask. I was given one roll of the flimsiest single-ply loo roll. There is a bit of neglect on the bathroom. You can see that there are scales and molds on the door, which can easily be cleaned with basic cleaning tools. There is also a faint smell coming from an unknown source in the bathroom which I can't block since the door doesn't lock. Maybe that's why there is a room freshener spray. There is Netflix but the subscription has expired. There is no proper blanket when I got there. There were two pillows, a fitted sheet and a bed cover which the agent said was a comforter/blanket (?). I asked for a proper blanket and was sent one (like that from an airplane). Usually, the bed linens are a set. I don't know why this was set-up differently. The light on the night table is busted.

The property was in a good location and safe with the guards in each building. The apartment was adequately equipped for a short stay .

I feel the owner should charge a small cleaning fee as the bathroom could have done with a deep clean

It was relaxing stay. Staff are very helpful.

All is good. The location is so peaceful. It must be better if the bathroom door would be fixed.
