The Young Villas - Dolce, Bingin

We had a wonderful stay at The Young Villas – Dolce. The property is located within a beautiful and secure compound in Uluwatu, with friendly security staff and easy access to some of the area's most popular attractions. It is only a few minutes from beach clubs such as El Kabron and around 10 minutes from the main shopping, dining, and entertainment areas, making it an excellent and convenient location for exploring the area. The villa itself is stunning and feels like something straight out of a design magazine. Everything was exceptionally clean and well maintained, with beautiful rooms, stylish interiors, and excellent privacy. We stayed in Villa No. 3 and found it to be very peaceful and comfortable. The bathrooms were well stocked with quality amenities, including towels, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and everything needed for a comfortable stay. One of the standout features of the property is the staff. Every member of the team was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. Housekeeping came daily and did an excellent job maintaining both the villa and the pool. The compound also includes a fantastic coffee shop and a lovely spa, both of which added to the overall experience. Considering the quality of the accommodation, facilities, service, and location, we felt it offered excellent value for money and would happily stay here again.

Overall, our experience was very positive, but there were a few minor issues during our stay. Upon arrival, both the handheld bidet and the handheld shower were partially blocked and not functioning properly. The team responded and resolved the issue after we brought it to their attention. The room safe was also not working initially, although staff quickly came to assist and got it operational. The second bedroom, located in the corner of the villa, had a persistent unpleasant smell throughout our stay. We kept the ventilation and exhaust fan running, but the odor never went away, which made that room less comfortable than the rest of the villa. The only other thing we missed was having a coffee machine. There was instant coffee provided with a kettle, which may be sufficient for some guests, but we would have preferred freshly brewed coffee. These were relatively minor points, however, and the outstanding service from the staff, along with the overall quality of the property, more than made up for them.

the villa was reflecting the picture, absolutely beautiful place, bathroom pretty, very impressive with the height of all the door.

Room change without prior notice We booked for 4 nights. Upon check-in, we were informed that we would have to change rooms the following day — something we were never warned about. We did not pay to pack and unpack after just one night. Due to jet lag, we asked to delay the move to 2pm, which the manager agreed to. However, at 11am someone came to wake us up to change rooms. The internal communication was clearly lacking. Unacceptable apology As an apology, the hotel offered us breakfast at Kayu Café. We ordered waffles, avocado toast, a mango smoothie and a pineapple juice. Everything was disappointing — fortunately it was complimentary. Dirty villa When we finally got our villa, we found hair on the pillow and in the bed, and both the pool and the outdoor area were dirty. We requested cleaning, and housekeeping as well as a pool cleaner were sent — which we appreciated. Invasion of privacy The next morning at 8:55am, housekeeping rang the doorbell loudly and, before we could answer, opened the door. I was naked and about to get dressed to let them know to come back later. This was extremely uncomfortable and unacceptable. No housekeeping for the rest of the stay After that incident, housekeeping never came again for the remaining nights — despite us displaying the “Please Clean” sign on the door every day. On the last day, they did reach out via message to offer housekeeping — however, since the WiFi was almost non-functional and we had no mobile signal either, we never received it. For a 4-night stay, we effectively had no housekeeping service at all. Poor WiFi The WiFi was almost non-functional throughout our entire stay, which also meant we missed any communications sent by the hotel. Bathroom — a good idea, poorly executed The villa featured a beautiful bathroom with two separate showers — perfect for a couple who prefer different water temperatures.

The Villa's are aesthetically gorgeous and really set the tone for our trip. We loved every minute of being at Dolce villas and would never want to stay anywhere out of Uluwatu. If you love a mediterranean-vibe residence this is the place for you.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable and small things like cleaners not leaving pool and bath towels; not cleaning the pool or at least leave us a net to do ourselves; i asked for mosquito repellent numerous times so i just had to organise myself... - but this was all fine and forgotten as the hosts were SO accommodating and great.

Everything was more than perfect, Budi the supervisor of the villa was always there whenever we needed anything with a very fast response, the villa was exactly as the pictures if not better. Will definitely comeback again.
