Les Jardins de Delgres

L'accueil est vraiment au petit soins, et même avant notre arrivée, les hôtes fournisse toute les informations nécessaires. Enfin une location abordable avec une literie grande et très confortable !! Vous êtes a moins de 10 minutes de l'embarquement pour "Les saintes", donc très appréciable des touristes et des locaux. Merci aux propriétaires et on se revoit des que possible !

After a long drive down the west coast of Basse Terre, stopping along the way, I finally arrived. When I met Patrick upon arrival i knew I had made the right decision to stay for 2 nights. They say that ‘people make the place’ and this was certainly true here. I felt truly welcomed. He helped me clean my hire car with the vacuum and soap and water and moved my running shoes away from the ground in case their friendly dog might have wanted a souvenir. Little things that make a big difference. I didnt realise they had a washing machine and powder as I had to wash my clothes by hand where I stayed in Deshaies. The ‘apartment’ is in fact three VERY spacious rooms and the kitchen is really well equipped with everything you need including an oven, which is unusual. The whole place is spotlessly clean throughout with lovely views of surrounding nature. Its a nice feeling having your own privacy, parking and entrance but that your host is next door if you need anything. All the very best to you Patrick and Rachel and thank you for allowing me to practice my French (even though they do speak English too:) P.s. Dont worry about the road to reach the apartment, just follow Patrick’s directions..take it slow, it’s only steep for a few metres, i did it in my small rental car, no problem:) also the baines de amour are just 5 minutes away by car.
