Motu One Fare – A True Dream in Moorea It’s hard to put this experience into words, because staying at Motu One Fare truly felt like stepping into a dream. I’m a frequent visitor to French Polynesia, especially Moorea, and I’ve stayed at all kinds of places here — some bad, some good, some great. But nothing, absolutely nothing, compares to what we found at Motu One Fare. From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by pure beauty. The private home sits in the middle of crystal-clear turquoise waters, with some of the best snorkeling spots right at your doorstep. Every evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, we were treated to serene nights under a sky splattered with stars. The Milky Way was so vivid it felt close enough to touch, and we could see the Southern Cross — a constellation once used by ancient Polynesian navigators to find their way to new worlds. It’s a sight that can only be witnessed south of the equator, and it made each night feel magical. Inside, the home was spotless and decorated with warm, island-themed touches. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking our own meals, but there was also an on-site chef available with a full menu — the best of both worlds. One of the bathrooms felt like stepping into a mermaid’s cove, complete with seashell treasures tucked in every corner. The attention to detail made it feel less like a rental and more like a home you never want to leave. But as perfect as the location and the house were, the heart of Motu One Fare is Romain, the property’s guardian. From the moment he came to pick us up — navigating rough waters with skill and grace — we knew we were in good hands. Over the days that followed, we discovered he was a true jack-of-all-trades: chef, bartender, handyman, diver, photographer, and captain. One afternoon, he went spear fishing just so we could enjoy freshly caught fish for dinner on our private island. That meal, prepared by him, was one of the best we’ve ever had.

I loved everything about the property. No negative comments here.

Our stay at Fare One was exceptional. The location is breathtaking!! The quality of the snorkeling is the best we ever experienced. Plenty of rays, friendly sharks and turtles all around, in addition to the numerous variety of fish and other marine life. And, the best part is that all of that is just outside the house as the property is beach side!!! The house is well maintained and the host is very attentive and genuine. You just need to get groceries before getting to the house, which the host is very good at helping to organize. The amenities were great. The internet worked all the time etc etc. I don’t really have anything negative to share about this property. We will definitely be back!!!!
