Ombra i Sol apartments

Francesca ist super nett und hat uns herzlich in Empfang genommen! Unser Flug wurde vorverlegt und wir konnten sogar etwas früher einchecken! Nach der Hälfte des Aufenthalts haben wir frische Handtücher bekommen und konnten uns durchgängig mit allen Haushaltsutensilien versorgen. Francesca war für Fragen immer erreichbar! Die Wohnung war SUPER sauber! Meine Frau und ich sind ziemlich pingelig, und wir haben uns selten sofort so wohl und zuhause gefühlt wie in diesem Apartment. Auch die Lage ist hervorragend - nicht im wuseligen Zentrum, aber nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß entfernt, gleiches gilt für das Meer. In der Nähe findet man außerdem zwei gut ausgestattete Supermärkte. Alles in allem war es ein wunderbarer Start in unsere Flitterwochen!

Late self check-in with keybox was possible which was much appreciated as my flight got in really late at night and almost midnight by time I reached apartment. Was nice clean fresh modern apartment with green arch paint detail over bed. Location was great and reasonably quiet for Alghero with park nearby opposite. It was a short 3 block walk to get to Alghero inner city and near to water and the old quarter. Price very reasonable. Host communicative and helpful - I personally found this apartment great for my needs.

It would have been nice to have a mini milk - such as long life umf milk mini sachet or carton for coffee / tea as they have in hotels and many accommodations. Other than this - was great.

The apartment was spotless, it has everything you need for a stay in the city, including beach props. The host was very welcoming and responsive. Walking distance to the centre, city beach and many restaurants. Next to a small park, parking available on the street. A veggie seller just at the corner which I loved. If you’re a soft sleeper like me, I’d suggest some earplugs, however. The municipality starts collecting trash on one particular day at 3am, glass trash 5 am 🙄 That aside, everything was great!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank and publicly praise Francesca for the accommodation in Sardinia during our stay in April. It was a pleasant week, even though the weather wasn’t ideal. We really appreciated being offered an umbrella when it rained. The room was spacious and equipped with air conditioning that can also heat the room if you feel cold. There’s a well-equipped kitchenette, which is perfect if you prefer cooking your own meals instead of always eating out. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was impressively large, with soap, shampoo, towels, and a hairdryer all provided. There’s also a shop nearby, which was very convenient. Most importantly, we’re very grateful that we were allowed to stay past the official check-out time, as our flight was late at night — this helped us a lot. If we ever return to Sardinia, we know exactly where we’ll stay!

The only downside worth mentioning is the parking situation — it can be a bit challenging to find a spot if you have a rental car, as parking in the area is limited.

The apartment is beautuful close to everything. The old town is just in a few minutes walk. The beach bus' stop to the most wonderful beaches around Alghero just a 3 minutes walk away. Francesca the host is super nice, helps with answering on all your questions

Very nice apartman in a good location. Everything is new and very clean.. overall the apartman has a really atmosphere, we really enjoyed our stay here. Also our host were super helpful with us. We could ask anything from her, she gave us greaf advices and was always available. We would love to come back here one day.
