Extremely clean and well maintained. All the facilities worked well. There were plenty of towels. The beds were really comfortable. The kitchen was replete with crockery and cutlery.

It would have been nice to have more basic provisions in the kitchen. Most properties put milk in the fridge and leave a loaf of bread, only a tiny bottle of milk (about 30ml) was in the fridge and no bread.

Lovely cottage in a quiet location. Well presented and very clean. A 2 minute stroll into the town and close to the Cotswold Way if you like walking.

No hangers!!

Absolutely perfect location for our needs. However there were a few things that disappointed. There was no key available to enable access to the courtyard and the outdoor dining area from the kitchen. Guests had to walk out the front door, out the front gate, around the front, up the drive and through the gate WITH THEIR FOOD. Very poor show, especially as we had a little dog with us that needed to pee frequently so had to use the front grass. It was also a very warm day and we needed the fresh air in the kitchen. Kitchen was also a little grubby in places. The cutlery drawer had old bits of food (grated cheese?) in amongst the utensils and some of the cutlery had dried on food stuck to it. The large table in the kitchen was a very tight fit and meant that once we were all sat down, no one could manoeuvre around until everyone had vacated and pushed their chair in. The boiler in the bathroom seemed to be on 24/7 and was quite noisy at night. The only way to open the bathroom window was to climb into the bath which was quite painful for a person with arthritic hips 😵‍💫. Lastly the mattresses and pillows were not of the quality required for hospitality. The mattresses were way too soft and bouncy and pillows had little or no substance to them. Such a shame as the house itself is a lovely little place.

Dursely is an interesting little town and close to our walks on the Cotswolds way The kitchen had plenty of equipment for self catering Tea and coffee provided and tiny bit of milk but not much else so come prepared or pop over to Sainsbury’s which is easy walking distance Decor was nice and everything was clean Characterful little cottage

Washing machine was broken which left is with dripping wet clothes and no response when I texted to report Could do with more crockery even though there was only two of us certainly inadequate for full occupancy Getting in and out of the parking space was tricky at times An occasional table would be handy in the lounge as there is nowhere to put drinks down when relaxing

The location was beautiful. Big house. Friendly host, responds quite fast.

The bath a leakage so the kitchen was full with water after I took a bath. BUT After messaging the host he would send someone asap.

The drive way but I managed to get used to it

the key was left in the lockbox by the door and the code was sent in a text massage prior to our arrival.

the bed in the main bedroom wasn't in good shape, it felt like it not safe to sleep on, and part of it was broken and held together by a clamp.

Perfect location in Dursley, very clean and bed was lovely and comfortable. Host very accommodating.

Slight smell when first arrived from a house that’s been closed up but fine once doors and windows opened.
