I’ll start by saying that the moment we stepped into Villa Evamar, we instantly felt like part of the family. We were welcomed warmly and sincerely, and the hostess was waiting for us with a lovely treat. The fridge was stocked with basic local products to get us started, which was such a thoughtful and special gesture. The villa itself was spotlessly clean and beautifully maintained — you can truly feel the hosts put their heart into every detail. We didn’t miss a single thing during our stay, as the equipment and amenities were complete and well thought out. Communication with the hosts was also excellent. During our stay, refreshing cleaning service was arranged along with a change of towels, which was another pleasant surprise. The pool was the perfect size for daily relaxation during the hot summer days and for spending lazy, warm evenings by the water. The water temperature was always exactly as we hoped it would be. When the day came to return home, it was really hard to leave — we had grown to feel completely at home here, and saying goodbye to such a perfect place wasn’t easy. On that day, the hosts surprised us once more with a farewell local gift — a bottle of top-quality Greek olive oil! The location is also great — within walking distance you’ll find the promenade in Chania, where you can enjoy a stroll, watch breathtaking sunsets, and savor local cuisine (ideally, do all three at once! :D). There are also plenty of grocery stores nearby — from small local shops to large supermarkets. To sum up: this is a beautiful, well-kept villa that offers such a high level of comfort, you instantly feel like you’re on a family holiday the moment you walk through the door!

It’s important for anyone planning a stay, so I feel it’s only fair to mention it: the villa is located right next to a fairly busy street, so you can’t completely avoid the sounds of passing cars or buses. It’s the kind of typical urban noise you can easily get used to. Don’t worry though — it doesn’t affect your sleep, as traffic is minimal at night. This isn’t a negative point about the villa, just a note for those expecting complete silence. From my perspective, someone very sensitive to noise might see it as a slight inconvenience — but for me, it’s nothing that would affect my overall impression or my decision to return. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to come back!

La maison était conforme au descriptif: très propre, moderne, agréable, la literie était vraiment de bonne qualité, ce qui est rare, y compris les draps et serviettes de toilette (produits de douche à disposition dans les salles de bain). Les propriétaires nous attendaient malgré un retard de notre avion de plus de 2 heures (nous sommes arrivés à 00h30). La propriétaire avait concocté un dîner avec des spécialités du pays. L'accueil était vraiment parfait avec de la nourriture dans le frigo pour le lendemain (lait, jus de fruits, beurre, vin, yaourts, céréales, biscottes, pain...). Nous avons apprécié la gentillesse, la disponibilité et la courtoisie de nos hôtes. Nous avons joué dans la piscine qui est de taille parfaite pour 4 personnes.

Malheureusement, rien ne peut être amélioré car la route située à côté de la maison est très passante et donc bruyante. C'est le seul point négatif de cette maison. Nous sommes peut-être plus sensibles que la moyenne mais cela nous a gêné. Nous étions dans cette maison la première semaine d'août.

The property was really well maintained and very clean. It had great facilities and the hosts were really good communicators. Everything we needed was there.

This property is almost brand new. The owners are very proud of it and treat the guests like Royalty. It has two spacious rooms and a double bed in an attic space. It is tastefully decorated with new furniture and has a great pool. It’s just really well designed and we were able to spend hours sitting by the pool under the canopy. There’s even a canopy for the car. The BBQ area is well designed and clean. Our hostess provided a package of goodies various other item which gratefully consumed. I reckon you would struggle to find better accommodation in Chania. You should book this. You must listen to the instructions about reversing into the drive. There is no other way. We then left and went to the Dourakis winery which is a very fine establishment.

EVAMAR is definitely a premium experience! The villa is immaculately clean with beautiful bathrooms and plenty of storage. The beds and bedding were of a very high quality and were extremely comfortable. We were provided with an abundance of fluffy white towels, dressing gowns, slippers and a lovely welcome pack of food to start us off. The villa was cleaned and all bedding/towels were refreshed in the middle of our two week stay. The pool area is beautiful with four sun loungers, and two parasols. The pool was cleaned twice a week and was very well maintained. There is a lovely BBQ and an outside shower next to the pool. It has electric gates and a shaded parking spot within the villa’s complex. There is CCTV for your security at the gates and covering the outside areas. The hosts were excellent and were very attentive. Nothing was too much trouble and they were so welcoming and kind. Lots of advice about where to visit and were immediate with their responses. The bus stops were just outside the villa so easy to travel down into Chania and there were 2 buses per hour. There is a small supermarket within walking distance for all of your everyday needs. Overall I would highly recommend this villa to anyone visiting Chania.

This is a city centre villa and it is situated next to a busy road. There was some road noise however this did not affect our stay.

Owners have thought of everything to make our stay perfect, friendly owner, very modern and clean, TV’s in bedrooms.
