Il Giardino del Tempio

Large room with separate bathroom on a private property. Excellent location for visiting the large archaeological site of Agrigento and the museum (which is outside the site). Our host was extremely friendly. PRO TIP: enter the archaeological site at the “back entrance” (check details locally!) and take a shuttle (ca. €8 per person) to Tempio di Giunone, the best start of the tour through the Valle dei Templi.

It was quite difficult to find the address using Google Maps. We chose the location because it is right next to the archaeological sights - which is great if you have a car, otherwise it is very far from everything (city of Agrigento, supermarkets, restaurants).

Very close to the Temples

The location of the property was perfect and Giorgia was an excellent host recommending what we could visit during our stay. She also booked us in to a lovely local restaurant for dinner which we would not have known about. A first class stay in every way!

Clean and new. Excellent location. Great views. The hostess was the nicest kindest person. She was so accommodating and sent us great restaurant recommendations. Our stay was short but we absolutely loved it. We wished we could spend more time at the property.

Georgia was delightful, and the information she gave us regarding bars restaurants etc was first class. The communication prior to arrival was excellent. She greeted upon arrival, the room was clean and fresh and the fudge was stocked up with drinks, brilliant. The bed was super comfy, I had best sleep in months. The outside patio is incredible, and the view from the roof temple of the valley of temples was amazing. This place is superb and you will find a nicer host.

Nothing, it was all good

This is a very new and clean property with a direct view of the Temple. (The best view is from the parking lot.) The sunset view of the temple from the property garage is breathtaking - you get to see the temple in the warm golden ray. absolutely amazing! We like the outdoor space a lot—it's cool and shaded. The fridge is fully stocked with beverages and water, so we can have our own aperitif just on the property. The hostess and her family were great. I have received lots of travel and eating tips from them The fridge is excellent - we were able to put a watermelon (8kg) inside 🍉 - we were able to have ice-cold watermelon and cold drinks daily after a hot day

Be aware of the mighty Sicilian mosquitos - but it's a general problem
