AUAUThe property itself was great and well maintained and jhony was amazing and responsive with any questions I had, greeted me on arrival and always kept the place clean for me 10/10 for jhony!
I had a pleasant stay that was completely ruined by my departure. I requested a late checkout which was granted via booking . Com messages with an applicable see which I agreed to. On my day of departure I was messaged and ask for payment and request that the payment be taken via the card I made this booking with. I was advised that this was not possible (which seemed very in genuine and I felt that whoever was replying on behalf of the property just wanted to pocket some extra cash). The process kept changed and I was refused to maybe payment via the system and was asked for cash which I did not have as I have been using Apple Pay. I was then asked to pay via USD or then bitcoin?! Refusing again my offer to pay via the system. I am a solo female traveller and 2 men the proceeded to arrive at the property and held me hostage for the money and wouldn't let me pay fairly through the system as I wanted paper trail and receipt. My airport taxi arrived and they communicated in Indonesian with this taxi driver and make him wait until I sent a private bank transfer to a lady called kanaya to her personal bank account?! I had no choice as I was going to miss my flight but the whole situation made me very upset and made me feel very unsafe. For that reason I will never stay here again due to the awful way these staff members manipulated me and held me hostage. They also cannot speak English which made matters even worse.
