GJ Guest House Sidemen

O pequeno almoço era muito bom, a cama era confortável e o quarto estava bem limpo. O host era bastante simpático e atencioso. É possível alugar uma scooter ou agendar algumas atividades no próprio alojamento.

Não apreciamos o cheiro intenso a naftalina na wc e não havia água quente para duas pessoas tomarem banho, apenas para uma (mas pelo que temos visto é uma realidade em Bali). O alojamento é um pouco deslocado da zona da restauração/ centro. O Wi-fi é fraco.

I spent 5 nights in GJ Guest House Sidemen and I enjoyed every minute of it. What a wonderful place! The two apartments are part of the family compound which is beautifully designed and decorated. The apartments are spacious and airy with large windows, a terrace in front and a veranda in the back with the most magnificent view of rice terraces you can imagine. Nyoman and his son Krisna (and the rest of the family) really do everything to make you feel at home and comfortable. And they have thought of everything, every little detail is spot on. Be aware: there’s only two apartments so don’t hesitate to book when there’s availability. You won’t regret it!

Nous avons passé un super séjour à GJ Guest House!! Nyoman et son fils Krisna étaient toujours disponible durant la journée pour savoir si tout allait bien et répondre à nos besoins. La chambre est vraiment spacieuse, propre, avec climatisation top, eau + thé et café et avec un très bon petit déjeuné servi sur la terrasse avec une super vu sur les rizières. Nous recommandons fortement ce logement et c’est avec plaisir que nous reviendrons!! Petit plus pour les français, Nyoman parle français, c’est très agréable de discuter avec lui!

Lage ist liegt eher außerhalb, ist aber mit dem Rollerverleih beim Guesthouse kein Problem.

Alles war super. Die lage der Unterkunft, der Service von Nyoman und seiner Familie einfach wie Familie aufgenommen. Rollerverleihung plus der Transport auf der Abreise. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und die Aussicht vom Balkon leute, oh mein gott traumhaft. Wenn ich zurück in Sidemen bin werde ich wieder dort übernachten. Frühstück bombastisch alles einfach nur Top.

the breakfast menu was very small - if you don't like bananas I wouldn't recommend you stay here as it is a very sweet breakfast I suggest adding a savoury option the apartment is large in size with a nice view of the farming grounds and ocean in the distance, you can see the sunset from the terrance, you will share a balcony with another guest if they have one. my host was kind enough to drive me into Sidemen town about 15min car journey to attend a silver making class, that was the highlight of sidemen however once again 250k to travel into town was a little to much money for me,

I didn't like the loud music played by neighbours for 3 hours, I asked the host where the music is coming from he said locals party after work and then eat dinner and the music stops, I came for peace and quiet and unfortunately that wasn't the case. The bed was comfortable and large however mine was missing the duvet cover and also found a spider under my duvet insert. There is literally no transport to get out of Sidemen, unless you want to pay 300k to travel back into Sanur, I ended up paying 200k via gojek after a very lengthy argument with go jek driver and host also offered his cousin to charge me 300k to drive me back into town. I ended up leaving 1 day early, and the host wasn't pleased he refunded me half of my stay for the night I did not stay I think 600k a night is a bit to expensive for this homestay.
