The apartment downstairs is very convenient, market, cafe, and grocery shopping are easy. Many restaurants. The room and shared area are very clean. It is convenient to use the oven, the washing machine, and the fridge. The downstairs has a bus stop that can take you close to King's College nearby.

The bed was incredibly uncomfortable, the pillows were a joke. There is only 1 bathroom to share with what could be 9 people and if you are in room 3 or 4 you have to go down 2 flights of stairs to get to the bathroom, where room 4 is for a family. The blinds in the room are useless, particularly as there is a street light right outside and blocks out little to no light. Overall, not worth the slightly reduced rate from other hotels in the city

The Mattrasses for the room Where I was, was a bit uncomfortable for me if I was to book for a longer stay I would have requested to be changed to a different room

Pros: Good location, about a 15-minute walk to the city centre. Easy self check-in/check-out. Wi-Fi works well. Bed linen was very clean.

Cons: The property needs a coat of paint. The walls are really dirty especially in the hallway where people drag their luggage around and the room is also in a bad state. There is no cable TV. I was aware that I would have to share the bathroom. Its still a drawback for me. It was clean at first. After other guests used the shower it got messy with residues left behind. The kitchen sink was always full of water and food leftovers from guests who don't know how to use the stopper properly which causes the drain to clog. The worst parts of my stay. And the reasons I would never go back. Are: 1. I stayed in Room 3 on the floor in the attic for one night. The window is hard to open because of the restaurant next door which has its ventilation outlet and fan right in front of the window. When I arrived the room was filled with haze. Was really hot. There is no air conditioning, a fan that doesn't help much with the heat and smoke from the restaurant. It was uncomfortable to stay. I had to close the window and leave the room door open to get some cleaner air from the hallway but even that wasn't much better. I slept all night with the window closed, in an environment that smelled like food and was only able to open the window early in the morning. I can share a video with the restaurant ventilation right in front of our windows. Booking allows just 4 photos. 2. The second reason I would never go back is that I contacted the property through Booking and WhatsApp to ask for a room but I never got a response, to any of my messages.
