"Loved everything about this property and the host mage sure she contacted us throughout our stay to make sure everything"

9.0

The property was clean and and well maintained. There was a welcome pack which was more than adequate. Also beds were comfortable and clean.

There was not anything to dislike although for personal preference it would have been nice to have a toilet upstairs

"Well located and comfortable"

9.0

Very well located for walking into Truro. Spotlessly clean. Good communication with hosts. Nice welcome pack

Nothing of particular note. There are quite a few steps to the front door, but that was very clearly flagged in the particulars and exactly as described.

"An enjoyable holiday retreat"

8.0

Stepping into the property was appealing and the Welcome basket a very lovely surprise

Was advised that access to the property was via a metal outside staircase, however no mention of how many steps to climb especially carrying luggage

"Delightful stay!"

10.0

Loved the size of the property, all the rooms were spacious and the sofas were so comfy! Ample amenities in the property too, very well equipped. Kirsty was lovely and great at communicating. The parking was so handy and the welcome basket was a lovely touch.

Access with a heavy suitcase! It wasn't horrific, but anyone with mobility issues may struggle.

Everything you could need and more, welcome basket a lovely touch, great location.

Blackout blinds or something a bit more than currently in the bedrooms, in the summer it would be difficult to sleep when the sun rises early as it streams through currently.

"We had a lovely 2 night stay . It was very hot but luckily we had some hand held fans ."

9.0

The place was lovely and clean. There were a few essentials like tea , coffee , milk , scones and jam waiting for us when we arrived and very much appreciated as we had arrived later than anticipated . Beautiful view from the kitchen window . It was a 10 minute walk into the town and it was convenient to have a parking space on the premises. Loved our stay and would definitely recommend to friends and family .

There were some building works downstairs but we were warned before our stay . Not really a problem as we were getting up early anyway . It can be very hot especially at night in the bedrooms .

Lovely apartment with views of the bridge, a quiet area, walking distance to the train station and town. There. we’re scones, jam and clotted cream on arrival. The beds are comfortable with new bedding, the sofas are huge, with a big tv. The shower is lovely and the kitchen facilities, we loved the rinse tap and spices. The washing machine and washing products were a welcome addition. We recommend getting the train to Falmouth town or beach not far and nice to be able to have a few drinks. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

The stairs it’s a top floor apartment, the balcony looks over the neighbours back garden and a shared balcony. We booked a taxi very expensive A2B.

"A hidden gem which totally surprised us."

10.0

A hidden gem of a property, just a stones throw from Truro centre and the Train station. This is a surprisingly spacious apartment which is central to all local amenities and transport links. The parking space was a godsend. Larger than I had expected, and immaculately clean. Tastefully decorated and well looked after. The welcome basket was, indeed, welcomed, with tea, coffee, milk, croissants, scones, jam and cream. We stayed at the end of November and there was even a Christmas tree with some tasteful Christmas ornaments. I can't comment on the cooking facilities as I didn't use them (I was on holiday after all!), but the kitchen certainly looked fully equipped. The bathroom is on the lower floor, but no need to put the lights on to disturb others as there are nightlights on the landing and at the bottom of the stairs with plenty of light. Two great sizes bedrooms upstairs with plenty of mirrors and wardrobe space. I did bump my head on the sloped ceiling but quickly learned how to get in and out of bed without doing so. A short walk into the town centre, meant no need to take the car. We took the train to Falmouth (a short walk to the station) rather than take the car - much quicker and cheaper. Kirsty was a lovely host who sent check in instructions with guidance on housekeeping rules (thank you - this was really useful) and checked in with us the next day to check that everything was ok. We had no issues at all, but I feel that she would have dealt with these immediate had any arisen. If I were to return to Truro, I would definitely stay here.

To echo a previous reviewer, the apartment is on the first floor and accessed by an external metal staircase (up 35 steps, then down 13 steps), so be aware if you have young children, a lot of luggage or restricted mobility. It wasn't a problem for us, but some might find this slightly problematic. It's not permanently lit, but there are motion sensor lights at various points which offer full lighting.
