Rustic Roots Farm Stay

Great peaceful location, friendly hosts, awesome facilities. Also not to forget delicious and healthy home made food.

it was the most memorable stary at Rustic roots, Not just bcoz of their food and Beautiful Clean rooms but bcoz of Love and hospitality offered by the Owners. ( Mr Vikas Gill and his Son, Bhaktavar Gill ) during our stay we felt like we were staying at our relative`s place, due to their warm nature. generally , the photos shown on any booking portal are of top notch condition , very neat and clean etc etc to entice one to book the place ( nothing wrong with it ) But we were pleasantly surprise to see the photos shown on this portal, don't do the justice to the actual place. the place is way more than beautiful, neat & clean and situated in very serene location. we really regret now that we didn't stayed more and now wanting to visit the place again. Mr. Vikas Gill shown us some very interesting historical places, nearby, which were 1000 years old and built by Persians. if anyone is visiting Amritsar, and longing for authentic home cooked Punjabi food than look no further, this place is right out of any bollywood movie, a beautiful farm house, surrounded by lush green farms. this is also very special, as one did not get to interact with any staff, we were taken care by owners themselves, and their standard for hospitality were pretty high. after staying , at hundreds of homestays & farmstays, I can say that this place comes in top 10 places.

The stay is very well located if you are planning to visit Attari-Wagah Border. Well connected to the highway as well so easily accessible. The owner Mr. Bakhtawar and his family were really warm and welcoming and more than accommodating of all our requests. Whether travelling alone, with a group of friends or with family I highly recommend this place to stay. Extremely clean and well kept. Very peaceful.

This is the true hidden gem. The staff is very helpful, the room was extremely clean and you can also take your pet 🐶.

I liked the hospitality of the farmhouse owner. He was really down to earth and provided pickup and drop up to our desired location. The owner communicated very humbly.

We had an exceptional stay at the farm stay! The owner's hospitality and kindness were truly outstanding. The fact that he went above and beyond to pick us up from the airport and drop us back was incredibly thoughtful and appreciated. We had a wonderful time and look forward to returning in the near future. Highly recommended!
