"A great place to stay!"

10.0

A great base for walking in North Devon, we loved the snug afteralong walk. A very comfortable, spacious and well equipped property with luxury features. There was everything needed for our dogs to enjoy our stay too! We would love to come back for longer another time!

Fabulous cottage in a beautiful location, near to both the coastline and local village shops and pubs. Very spacious and great facilities in the cottage. Would highly recommend for family groups/anyone wanting to explore North Devon.

"Quiet cozy cottage with all the amenities you could possibly need in a large village."

10.0

The property is in a great location and central to the areas of interest for us. The village of Hartland is larger than some with great amenities. The property itself was carefully chosen by us for family and our two King Charles Spaniels. The hosts kindly provided everything needed for the woofers including crate, towels, throws for the sofas and shampoo. For us mere humans, everything was catered for. A fully stocked kitchen with all cooking utensils you would need, electric hob, cooker, dishwasher, washer and dryer and a tall fridge freezer. The principal suite was spot on with en-suite and smart toilet, deep bath and a shower and sink. The super king size bed was very comfortable, ample closet space, lamps and windows. The other three bedrooms were a great size comprising of another double bedroom with wardrobes, a twin room with dual aspect windows, wardrobes and the 4th bedroom was single room but more than adequate for my daughter who loved her own space. Good sized family bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. The ground floor lounge was great for us to use with large coffee table, 3x 2 seater sofas with two having throws for the woofers to lie on. A snug if you needed some quiet time, although we didn't use it. Basic Freeview channels available via Sky Q box. A PS3 Slim is also included with some games but we didn't use. Kitchen diner was a great room and the most used area for us to mingle. We did cook using the hob and oven a couple of times and other times had take out food. Also, ground floor wet room which has a large shower but we didn't use it and convenient toilet and sink and utility room by the door with the washer & dryer as I mentioned. Nice garden which we did manage to use a couple of times even with the mixed bag of weather. BBQ is also provided but we didn't use.

The only two minor gripes we had was parking is tricky with two large cars. The entrance on either east or west side is tricky and manoeuvring out can be tricky, but to be fair won't faze any competent driver. Finally, the internet was a bit hit and miss over the weekend and was down more which although didn't bother me, my youngest daughter had a moan. It did seem to correct itself during the week and didn't impact the majority of us, but something you may want to consider if working during your holiday (which I wouldn't recommend anyway - enjoy your holiday !).

Everything! It’s a home away from home!

Nothing! It’s our second time visiting because we love the property and the area.

Lovely spacious cottage with beautiful surroundings. Modern bedrooms and bathrooms but still cosy and comfy. Great kitchen for the group to gather

Parking was very tight but space is a premium in the village

"Great spacious house for family get together. Very well maintained and clean."

9.0

Lovely big rooms and very spacious for a family stay. Very clean. All mod cons, great to have three bathrooms. Great location to the village and nice walks. Great extra touches

Car parking was tight for two cars. But understandable due to the location we made it work. Only thing we can find wrong is couldn’t find a tin opener.

"100% would recommend"

10.0

Beautifully decorated and modern house with plenty of space and a well-appointed kitchen. Lots of storage space, lovely bedrooms, two great baths and the log fire was superb in the evenings!

Only issue was that we couldn't find a dustpan and brush anywhere!

"Lovely cottage in great location"

10.0

There was plenty of space for our group of 5 adults and a dog. The rooms were well furnished, clean and comfortable. There were three bathrooms in the property with some luxury fittings. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped. There was also a dining room and two lounges. The bigger lounge was more cozy with a wood fire. The property was very dog friendly and in a great central location.

Getting in and out of the parking spaces was a bit tight.

Clean and well presented. Main bedroom and ensuite very nice. Great location for the village and area.

Very cold when we arrived. Kitchen diner area remained cold once other areas warmed up. This wouldn't be a problem in main Summer season, but it was in cold March.
