"Beautiful surroundings and very quiet, even the trains which were very few on the live lines were great to watch."

Everything you would need is here in the flat it feels more like a detached cottage than a flat I would try and book again definitely when in the area.

Lovely cosy furnished apartment. Very comfortable. Stayed here for overnight stop on way further north but could stay here happily all week. Had everything you could need. Lots of little extras like toiletry things you might have forgotten on your travels. Host was very accommodating and good communication. Trains go by occasionally but didn't find them intrusive at all. A nice little find! Would recommend

Beautifully appointed apartment. Very comfortable bed. We were made to feel very welcome with a range of finishing touches which would not have been out of place in a five star hotel, from everything we needed to make a lovely hot drink as soon as we arrived, to fizz in the fridge and a chocolate on the pillow, and more!

We never did get the hang of the tv, but that may just have been our own ineptitude…

Gorgeous little place, kitchen well equipped with everything you could need. Really comfy furniture and bed. The extra little bits like the biscuits, chocolates and crisps were lovely. There were also so many additional extras supplied, like toothpaste, nail file etc., which were great in case you’ve forgotten anything. Putting out the dog bowls was a lovely touch! There is a train that goes straight past the window, which doesn’t affect stay. Would be great for train enthusiasts!

Really, really cold. The heating really didn’t warm the place up - the bathroom was freezing. Real shame, as with Central Heating to keep the place warm this place would be a real gem and would happily pay £100+ a night for.
