Toan Thang Beach Hotel - 100m to the beach

Vielen Dank an Moon von der Rezeption. Sie hat sich immer hervorragend gekümmert und hatte zu jeder Tages und Nachtzeit ein freundliches Lächeln für einen parat.

The location, my room cleaning staff, breakfast staff as well as front counter staff like Moon were all very helpful and accommodating. The room was sizeable too, and I liked the form bed mattress

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und möchten besonders das außergewöhnlich freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal hervorheben. An der Rezeption wurden wir stets herzlich empfangen. Nguyet und Trinh waren extrem zuvorkommend und haben uns mit vielen wertvollen Tipps zu Ausflügen, zur Umgebung und zu kulinarischen Empfehlungen weitergeholfen. Auch Huy hat uns bei der Tour-Beratung und Organisation super unterstützt. Man merkt wirklich, dass hier mit viel Engagement und Herzlichkeit gearbeitet wird. Besonders schön ist auch die Lage der Unterkunft: In der direkten Umgebung gibt es zahlreiche Cafés und Restaurants. Der Strand ist nur etwa drei Minuten entfernt.

Das Frühstück war in Ordnung und hat alles Nötige geboten, könnte jedoch in Zukunft noch etwas abwechslungsreicher gestaltet werden.

Well located

The staffs unprofessionalism. In fact we booked the hotel and the day of arrival we received a message vis WhatsApp from the receptionist asking us at what time we would arrive. We answered that we would arrive in the evening. She asked at what time : we answered between 19h and 20h. However when we arrived they told us that we couldn’t check in because they told us we didn’t answer their messages, which wasn’t true. They told us they didn’t keep the reservation and that they had sent a message informing us about that. As we were in a public bus, we hadn’t read the message and anyway which hotel sends a message at 19h that one cannot check in at 20h ? Apparently there was a lack of communication between the receptionist and the staff that worked at the reception in the evening. We insisted we wanted a room and then they told us we had to wait for a room to be prepared. A room was ready for us at 21h. We don’t understand why the hotel wanted to cancel the booking when anyway a room was available and why the room wasn’t ready ? Anyway, we lost so much confidence in the hotel that we left the next day. The only positive thing was that we spoke with Madam Lucie and she listened to our complaints and she was very friendly and she told us that the hotel will do everything to improve the service to the customers. It was nice that at least 1 person of the staff was comprehensive ! There were other disfunctionalities : we would recommend the hotel not to wash dishes in front of the people eating breakfast on the top floor, especially that they take the place where the view is very beautiful!

The hotel was a good choice regarding location, staff and the conditions of the rooms. However there was a few issues that I would like to share: 1. Breakfast finishes at 09:00, we are staying there because we are on vacation, we are not in school or army :) I think breakfast should be available until at least 10:00. The buffet can be rich for Asian people but for other people, I find it hard to adapt. 2. The hotel accepted only cash payments and that was stressful because they also want the payment upon arrival. The card machine was not working.

One day I asked for water from the reception when I arrived in the hotel. They said the room service placed 2 bottles in my room. I went and I saw that there was none, opened the fridge and I saw 2 bottles there (different brand). I drank them and when I was leaving, they charged me for these bottles. I was trying to explain this via translation app, and my grab was waiting outside, there was a lot of time pressure so I just paid it but I must say this was not nice. I had already asked and got confirmed that I had water in my room. Secondly, there is a phone in the room but it does not have a cable, so you cannot use it.
