We had an amazing time at Nandini. We experienced both the luxury and cosiness of homestay here. The warm and comfortable rooms, view of Himalayas, scrumptious food, trekking to the nearby villages and the rainbow we could see from our room. We would have extended our stay if it was possible.

There was nothing to not like.

The stay at Nandini was nothing less than staying at your own home. I couldn’t imagine such peaceful, such a perfect warm stay can exist before coming here. The owner Uncle has given all his heart to this and each detail that he has taken care of is heights of perfectionism. Bhuvan bhaiya is a great caretaker and the food was absolutely soulful. Amazing Himalayan range view and you will surely get rejuvenated and cleansed from within. Trust my words and just book a stay at Nandini if you are also looking for a whole package of a comfortable stay in the lap of nature.

Name one homestay in India that provides its guests with toiletries, fresh towels, slippers, tea-coffee-power milk sachets, an electric cattle, a mini fridge (yes, you heard it right), an iron and an ironing board, a big cupboard with plenty of hangers and extra blankets and pillows? The short answer in Nandini Cottages. The Himalayan view from the rooms and the balcony is breathtaking. The size of the room is much bigger than most flats in our cities. The hospitality of the staff is soooo homely. The complimentary breakfast is great with lots of options. They also cook a handful of dishes for lunch and dinner and the prices are reasonable. The caretakers -- Rajendar and Pramood -- are very efficient and helpful. They always have smiles in their faces, no matter what. On reaching the property, they will receive you at the entrance downstairs and carry all your luggage to your room before helping you with your parking (the property has ample private parking space). On entering the property what one immediately notice is the kind of detailing that has gone into making the homestay on a par with any luxury hotel. Every inch is made with care. Be it the small library, or the photographs/ paintings hung on the walls, the garden/open seating area, the children's play area, the exterior or the interior lighting, the viewpoint, the hiking trail at the backyard, etc. Overall, Nandini Cottages surpassed my expectation. It's the best homestay I've every stayed at.
