Great little private camp in the desert but the best part was taking care of the camels with the owner.

We had some troubles to reach the camp with our 2wd car. Thanks to Hamid we finally reached the camp. Although there was no other people, but us we spent an emerging evening with delicious dinner. We had fruits and coffee, we did some stars gazing, we enjoyed the fire. Hamid did for us delicious bread on the fire. Evening was great. Thanks a lot.

"Great experience in the desert"

10.0

Very nice camp, host was very friendly and made me feel welcome. Had lots of omani coffee, dates, and fruit. Showed me his camels and I got to help feed them. We also went quad biking in the dunes which I thought would be scary but it wasn't. Went above and beyond to give me a good experience, I am celiac and explained that I can't eat gluten and his sister made me a special breakfast. Pickup was easy and straightforward. Beautiful sunrise and sunset watching from the dunes. Best calue for money that i have found in Oman. Highly recommend!

Just a tip if you are going, make sure to pack sandals, i only had running shoes and they were good for hiking in the dunes but annoying and sandy to take on and off to go into and out of the tents, which you do a lot. Not a complaint just something I would do differently next time.

"Comfortable, delightful - but bring your own mug!"

8.0

The rooms are beautiful, no complaints, very comfortable and everything was provided. It is good that you can reach it without a 4x4 vehicle.

It was noisy with children because it was a holiday, and they left a lot of mess. However, the environmental sustainability is seriously in question: small water bottles are less eco-friendly than big ones, or even refillable water dispensers. I found so many plastic water bottles cluttering the camp AND in the dunes behind. I do not like the use of paper cups for tea and coffee. You should provide proper china mugs - people will respect them and not break them. I

"Basic yet authentic accomodation."

8.0

Authentic, small camp. There is an easy route to the next valley for Oryx and Desert Night camps, but you have to drive way past Desert Wave camp before climbing the left hand dune.

No wifi, no dinner, breakfast is upon request.
