The Blue Buffalo is so cute and cozy. I was just getting away for a quiet night and I truly felt like a home away from home.

I did not receive a confirmation email for the dates I requested, just a email stating that I would receive a confirmation number as soon as the Blue Buffalo approves that they have availability. Therefore I made other arrangements. While I was en route to Douglas a text message appears on my phone giving me the check-in information. Because there is not a local number listed on their website I was unable to contact them. I immediately called the number associated with the text. The lady was apologetic for the miscommunication and said she would pass the information along to the owner. She did not inform me that I would be charged for the amount of a two night stay. A couple days later I noticed a charge on my visa, again I immediately called the same number and the lady was very rude and unprofessional stating “I have never spoken to you, it’s no longer my problem and I don’t have time for this” and hung up on me. If this is how they treat all their upcoming guests……. no wonder they don’t have many bookings (I hear the parking lot is empty most days). They have failed to respond to several messages from Booking.com regarding this matter . In my opinion this is unacceptable, unprofessional and disrespectful behavior by a property that is publicly listed on the website.

The decor was wonderfully decorated. Very cute. Nice little touches. Very clean. Smelled good in room. Easy check in. Good parking.

The price didn't match what you got. Overpriced. Outside exterior needs work. Leaf build up in front of door. Vending machines very outdated. Need a clock and microwave in room. Bed wasn't very comfortable. Could have used cable or satellite. Not everyone has streaming services. No handle in shower. Could easily fall. Fan very loud in bathroom.

The room was excellent. The room was modern and very clean. The owner was friendly and helpful with the online check-in.

Needs an ice machine. We couldn't find one on the property.
