The Blyde Canyon House

Every picture I saw on Booking.com it looks exactly like that, everything about this place is amazing wow can't emphasize more on that.

At least put a big mirror in the bedroom.

The property was lovely and tranquil

The host is friendly, accommodating and helpful at all times with a wonderful mannerism. The rustic yet modern-built house is nestled privately in the heart of nature, situated in a beautiful tranquil conservancy close to Hoedspruit town with shops and restaurants. The staff members go to great lengths to make sure one feels welcome and at ease. Aside from the place being spotless, extra attention has gone into making sure that you have everything you need. The spacious interior is beautiful with its classic African-style décor that matches nicely with the surrounding veld and mountain backdrop outside. A seated patio setting with a pool below that overlooks the well-maintained forest-like garden, together with air conditioning inside the bedrooms, makes it an even more wonderful stay. It’s nice to cool down after coming back from a game drive in Kruger Park, not even an hour's drive away. The villa provides safe parking and a braai & boma area to enjoy, with the Blyderiver just some meters away. Thank you for your hospitality. A 10/10 recommendation

The place is secluded,Private and really just gets you in touch with nature

The path to getting to the property may require an SUV or Bakkie.Not friendly for low clearance cars

The house is very beautiful and the location is quiet and peaceful

The stuff made us feel uncomfortable and kept telling us about breaking things which we didn’t even break one item. They have an electricity problem, we spent the last day without any power and they have no backup which made the end of the trip very unpleasant.

All I can say is that I was happy during my stay. Have no complaints whatsoever, I would highly recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a secluded and quiet place. Staff were the friendliest, didn’t struggle with anything.
