The property is well maintained and is in a very convinient location. The hosts were welcoming and extreamly polite. Rare to find but they have a smart tv installed. Swiggy and zomato can be used to order food easily. A 20 minute drive from Udupi railway station.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Atithi Homestay in Udupi, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I made the reservation, Gayatri reached out to me, making sure I had all the necessary details, including the address and nearby landmarks. She stayed in touch throughout my journey, ensuring everything was going smoothly. On arrival, Ganesh came to pick me up.Their home is perfectly situated away from the noise and chaos of the city, providing a serene and peaceful environment. My room was spacious, immaculately maintained, and waking up to the sounds of chirping birds and cooing peacocks was an absolute delight. As my bus was delayed, they thoughtfully arranged a quick lunch, ensuring I didn’t go hungry. What stood out the most was the meticulous way they planned my daily itinerary. With my inputs and their local expertise, they curated the perfect schedule, ensuring I got the most out of my time in Udupi. I had shared a list of places I wanted to visit and dishes I wanted to try, and they made sure I ticked off every single one. On the last day, Ganesh even went the extra mile to bring me the local dishes I had missed earlier, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The warmth of this family extended beyond just the parents. Their elder son, Gagan, went out of his way to help me set up the address on Swiggy and Zomato, ensuring I could order food with ease. Their younger son, Charith, was an absolute delight—offering me sweetmeats every day and even inviting me to his school’s sports day event. As a solo traveler, my comfort was a top priority for them. In fact, they were so considerate that they declined bookings from male guests for the adjacent room to ensure I felt completely at ease. Their hospitality, care, and attention to detail made my trip truly unforgettable. I left with not just fond memories but also new friends for life.
