Elevated Space Apartments, Shipston on Stour

The apartment was very well appointed. the washer/dryer worked well. It was a short walk to the shops, restaurants and pubs.

The pillows were too flat.

The accommodation was top notch. Every aspect had been thought of and it was extremely well appointed. We had all our needs met and were very comfortable. Exceptionally clean and welcoming place to stay.

The accommodation is situated above a Tesco Express store and this resulted in quite a lot of noise from customers and from the shop itself. We were disturbed by the moving of stock cages and a constant bleeping sound late evening and early morning. Also we had our car blocked in on a couple of occasions from customers using the car park.

The high specification and furnishings inside the property were 10/10. The staff were very responsive and helpful and resolved our hot shower issue very promptly and fixed what was necessary.

The road noise is very loud being on the village main road, it echos and building vibrates when large vehicles pass by, groups of teenagers hanging around the Tesco express below. The water pipes are incredibly loud in my opinion when showering for others in the apartment I.e. sneaking a shower whilst my child was sleeping. Shipton on Stour isn’t your typical Cotswold village which I didn’t know before visiting, if you’re looking for a Quintessential Cotswold village. Hot water wasn’t working for part of the stay but fixed very promptly so not a big issue.

Appartamento molto ben arredato. Comodo e completo di tutto ciò che serve per un soggiorno in famiglia. Cucina completante attrezzata, lavatrice e asciugatrice, lavastoviglie, asciugacapelli professionale, ferro e asse da stiro. Ottima posizione in un bel paesino, sopra un Tesco aperto fino alle 23. Il paesino offre pub, gastronomie e sale da the. Consigliato per famiglie.

La strada su cui si affaccia l’appartamento è un po’ rumorosa, ma con le finestre chiuse si dorme bene! Avendo dei bambini e cucinando sempre a casa, sarebbe stato comodo avere un aspirapolvere oltre alla piccola scopa fornita.

The location was perfect, we were able to walk wherever we wanted to. The apartment is very modern with beautiful finishes.

Anna is a superb host. Always available and helpful. Every detail in the property has been carefully selected, it’s in the middle of Shipston on Stour with every shop/restaurant next door but still in a quiet and nice area where you can rest after a day of tourism.

Had some issue with Booking. It’s offering it for 4 people (adults) when after talking to Anna it’s only thought for 2 adults and 2 kids. Anna even offered to cancel if we had another option (thanks!) but since we didn’t, we made it work as best we could. Not her fault but something that must have changed in the configuration used by Booking. We also didn’t manage to make the hot water work in the shower after the first 2 people had a conservative shower. Not sure what it was. Talked to Anna who suggested a couple of things, it worked in the night but still had the same issue the following morning…don’t know what caused the issue 🤷🏼‍♀️
