Elevated Space Apartments, Shipston on Stour

The flat was very nicely furnished and the kitchen and bathroom were ample for our needs.

Outside the bedroom at the rear of the property is a very loud generator that makes a noise all night similar to a plane taking off. I asked the property about this and they kindly offered me a free night but it would have meant trying to find something else at last minute so I didn't accept. If you have difficulty with sleeping this isn't an easy nights sleep. The other bedroom had less noise but its fair to say we all left the property tired. Perhaps adding some accoustic fencing around the generator may help but it's as much the vibration as the noise.

Everything right from decor to facilities to location to cleanliness was absolutely fantastic! I’ve never stayed in a cleaner apartment or even a hotel, completely spotless! The bedding was soo soft and comfortable! Individual thermostat for each room and living room so can set it to your preferences. Huge bathroom. Fully functional kitchen. Welcome basket with biscuits, tea and coffee pods and small milk bottle was provided. Tv with satellite channels and Netflix like streaming services. Great location with tesco downstairs. Check in and check out instructions were timely provided. Sone people said parking was tricky but it was fairly okay for us. Spots were reserved with cones. They were a tad bit tight but it’s like that everywhere now. We could easily fit our 4 series in it.

Kitchen could have been stocked a bit better. For example the salt in the shaker was empty and no sugar was provided but these are absolutely minor faults. We bought them from Tesco downstairs quite easily. Another minor inconvenience was the noise from the bathroom door which was but difficult to close and sometimes from outside too.

The location of the property was ideal near the centre of the town. The apartment was delightful, it was spacious, spotless, and had every facility we could have wished for. The owners should be proud of the standard they have achieved.
