Quiet Zen Tiny House in Japanese Garden

The gardens are so beautiful and peaceful 😍 so serene. Everything is pretty old and falling apart in the gardens but I personally think that adds to the beauty

The bed was so uncomfortable. There's no windows in the room except in the front door. There's no staff except one cranky grounds keeper that doesn't speak English and does not care to be helpful. This is a DYI vacation. If you want a nice hotel and amenities, this place is not for you. If you want a quiet zen experience, this is a wonderful location.

Beautiful location and great room

Apartment was small but well equipped, surrounding gardens and pond were fantastic.

There was a mix up & room had not been cleaned from previous guests so we had to wait 1 Hour & a young chubby man got rude because the cleaning ladies kept talking to me & I asked to stop talking & go clean the place quickly, it was a very cold day! Also, the shower did not have hot water or good pressure so my husband was unhappy.

The heater did not work in the apartment and the owners were not responsive when we asked for help and more blankets. We were booked for four nights, but we left after three because it was too cold to sleep.

What a beautiful wedding venue!

The location is truly beautiful. The gardens are wonderful, it's the perfect environment to relax. The wifi is good, so it's also a good place to do some remote work. The rooms are clean, and they have a well-equipped kitchen, so you can also cook. Overall, it is an exceptional accommodation as long as you don't need assistance with anything.

The room did not have water the first day we arrived and it was hard to get assistance. We arrived around 7pm on the first day after a full day of hiking. We immediately noticed the shower had no hot water. We tried to contact the property. They had provided 3 phone numbers by text, but none of them picked up. There was an additional phone number in a sign in the room, which went directly to voicemail. In the end, I was able to get a reply to a text with one of the phone numbers. It was a slow response time (a message every 10min or so), and it took a while just to convince the person that the hot water was indeed not working. Even once we did, they were unable to help us in any way or send anyone to the site that evening, and said they would send someone in the morning. The next morning by 10am nobody had come, so we tried texting again. The number did not reply, but I was able to call one of the other numbers and ask that someone came by. By noon, a very nice worker came, and confirmed that indeed the water heater was broken. At this point, everything got fixed shortly after: the water heater was replaced and by 6pm we had hot water. Overall, it seems like it was just a misfortune, and I am happy with the way it was handled, but it was not easy to get assistance, and we did not have hot water for a full day of our stay.
