The property owner’s communication. She decided when we arrived that she’d want the payment in cash. This was not mentioned in the booking policies. I had put my bank card details to pay directly from booking.com. To withdraw foreign currency on my international card was incurring huge charges, had they mentioned their policy before hand, I would have come with USD from abroad. I ended up paying via a third party money transfer service. I paid almost £40 more than the quoted amount due to exchange rate. The property itself is not in good condition. It needs work. The owner is very rude, doesn’t know how to communicate
