Downtown View Near Lake Michigan Plaza Black

Good location, next to a bus stop to Downtown and grocery store.

I had one major problem with this place, and two others. First, the keypad used to gain entry to the apartment I had paid for didn’t work. It worked for the first day of my four nights there, and then became increasingly erratic. I would punch in the numbers they gave me time and time again, with no result. Late at night, there was no one on duty to help. I felt like a safecracker in a movie, punching in numbers until magically the door finally opened. It would take 20-30 tries the last two nights. On the weekends, there were no building personnel available. On Saturday, I approached an HVAC repair guy in the building, and he called a number he had, and the guy on the other end said he would send a repairman in an hour. Which he did. The repairman put in new batteries. When that didn’t work, he Facetimed his boss and fiddled with it until he told me it was fixed. It wasn’t. That night, the last night of my stay, it took me half an hour to get results nd be able to enter my room. Secondly, as soon as I got there, I got a text from from what likely was a virtual assistant, who set up a chat and said he would answer any questions I had during my stay. I immediately asked for the WiFi password, which had not been provided. In four days, I never heard back and had no WiFi. Lastly, in the days prior to my arrival, I received several texts giving me details of my upcoming stay. None of those texts included an actual address of the building that I could punch into Waze for navigation. I also was not given the actual name of the building, which would have allowed me to look up the address. A Google map and my familiarity with Milwaukee allowed me to get to what I thought must be the correct building. Again, only by approaching an electrician walking into the building, was I able to make sure it was the right place. My stay at this place was a disaster. The apartment was perfectly fine, but it was nearly impossible for me to gain entrance.

The apartment is very good, just like the pictures, but really needs blackout on the window! Also needs more glasses, there was only ONE in the apartment and some wine glasses also will be nice! Overall, we had a great stay.

Everything was amazing. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely be back again. One little pointer is the checkout is really early, which is only a disadvantage if you’re not an early bird like me..
