The bathroom doesn't have doors. 😳

Very modern, comfortable and clean room. It is situated within walking distance to the lido. Host is very helpful. Will definitely recommend to others.

The room is very nice and well-equipped. Every day, someone comes to clean the room, which is very nice at this price point. The room is in a relatively calm neighborhood; free parking is available on the street. The staff is very kind and helpful.

We booked the room with breakfast included (according to Booking), but the host told us they provide breakfast only in high season - no problem, they offered to cover the tourist tax instead. The biggest problem was that someone in the room next to me was extremely loud during the night - they had some sort of party two days in a row and were very loud. The room seemed to have walls made from paper as we could hear everything from the neighboring room. The shower with a restroom is only divided from the bedroom with a sliding door which doesn't do a very good job blocking any noise coming from the restroom :)

No sound isolation. We hear speech neighbours and street noise.

Bathroom doesn’t have a door so basically no privacy, quite bizarre. The room is noisy at nighttime with a strange clinking noise coming from upstairs (probably the con fan). Pillows are the worst I’ve had in my life, so thin and uncomfortable, also the bed frame creaks at every movement so, overall, not pleasant nights ahead. Owner, who lives above the property on the second floor, seems also very obsessed to have the main door closed at anytime which is fair enough but it doesn’t excuse rudeness when we forgot to lock the door. I think if you really care about the door remaining closed then you should equip it with an automatic closing mechanism and not rely on your guests and react with rather rude messages if they forget it.

Bathroom door was not a proper door and didn’t isolate sound

We had an issue with our door, but our host reacted within a matter of minutes and fixed it for us. We received all the information we needed before our arrival. There's not a lot of things to do in Avola, but Noto - which is gorgeous - is only 15 minutes away.

A small fridge to keep the bottles of water cold would be appreciated in the room.

Brand new, well taken care off, complete with coffee and amenities.super attentive host.

Bed was a bit hard for our taste.
