"Visit over St Patrick's day weekend"

James was very helpful, lots of local knowledge and tips provided. Very welcoming and friendly. Property has everything you could need or want. Location is great for visiting the town and very good for day hiking in the Mournes. Would definitely stay again in the future.

No complaints at all.

James was very helpful and really looked after us. He was an excellent host. The cottage was clean and bright, especially in the kitchen in the morning sun. Very accessible for walking to the town and onto the hills.

Beautiful little cottage in a fantastic, quiet location with easy access to Newcastle. Cosy, warm and plenty of space. Host was on hand for any queries and very helpful. Would highly recommend this place and definitely hope to return.

Bungalow perfectly placed to walk the Slieve Donard, could walk to the start from the accommodation. Comfortable stay. Kitchen well equipped, teabags/coffee/milk appreciated. Immaculately presented. Parking off road on drive.

"Fab cottage, excellent location"

The cottage is in a perfect location. A quiet area, a short walk from town or the forest /hills. Everyone we came across in Newcastle were very friendly. We stayed 5 nights and had everything we needed at the cottage and were comfortable and warm. James was excellent with communication leading up to the trip and made sure everything was OK for us during the stay. We would definitely stay here again.
