Timber house in Lyngen

Beautiful, comfortable and spacious house with fantastic views. All the amenities you would hope for - warm, plenty of hot water, car port. Very welcoming host.

Tolle absolut ruhige Lage. Ausstattung des Hauses konnte nicht besser sein. Alle waren begeistert. Absolut zu empfehlen.

Der Urlaub war mit 5 Tagen einfach zu kurz. ;-) Restaurants oder Pubs gibt es aufgrund der abgeschiedenen Lage nicht. Ist aber kein Problem.

Miejsce wyjątkowe , lokalizacja idealna. Wyposażenie domu na bardzo wysokim poziomie. Niczego nie brakuje . Czysto , przestronnie , cieplutko i naprawdę bardzo miło . Właściciele mili i bardzo pomocni . Polecam serdecznie 👍😊

We stayed at beautiful Timber House with 4 adults and 4 kids and felt welcome and home from the very first moment. The house offers ample space and is so well thought trough: The upper floor as the heart piece of the house with a big kitchen, dining area, living room, sun room that you enter the big terrace from, master bath- and bedroom and spectacular views. Downstairs 3 bedrooms plus a fourth one in the gaming/movie room, which the kids loved after our hikes. We weren't lucky with the weather that week and really appreciated the drying room, the shoe dryers, the space for wet clothes. We were even given a sleigh for the kids when rain turned into snow. 4 nights we were lucky to watch the northern lights. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Bewertung im September bei 6/7 schönen Tagen und 12-18°C. Schönes und grossen Haus mit 3 Balkonen, Wintergarten und Grill. 5 Schlafzimmer, 3 Bäder, Waschmaschiene & Tumbler, Trocknungsraum, grosse Küche mit Kaffeemaschine (Nespresso & Filterkaffee), viel Kochuntensilien und Kinderspielsachen (Duplo, Puzzle, Bücher). 4 Nächte hatten wir Nordlichter, einmal sogar extrem intensiv mit Violetten Rändern. Nach Tromso ca 1h10 fahrt und 20min Fähre. Zum kleinen Laden im Norden ca 20min. Wanderausflüge in der nähe rasch erreichbar, teils teure Parkplätze bei Wanderungen.

Leider kein Whirlpool nur Badewanne. Garage extra Buchbar (teuer). Lichter der Garage / Wegbeleuchtung über zeitschaltuhr (19.00 - 0.00 uhr) stören beim Nordlichtgucken.

Great facilities with plenty of comfort. Very clean and tidy. Warm and welcoming due to decorations. Amazing host that answers all questions and then some. Top notch stay!

Pillows were a bit too soft, if I have to mention something.

This cozy house was perfect for our family trip to Lyngen. The owners, Anette and Sigve, were very communicative and helpful throughout our stay. They even left us food in the fridge since we arrived late and couldn't go grocery shopping. The house itself was clean and well-equipped. We enjoyed relaxing by the fireplace in the living room and using the snow toys provided by the owners. We were 3 families and kids had a proper winter fun there. The beds were comfortable and the views were amazing. We were lucky enough to enjoy northern lights from the front yard and the view was breath taking. Unfortunately, we did have some car trouble during our stay and got stuck in the snow. Anette and Sigve went above and beyond to help us find a solution, even contacting local farmers to see if they could tow our car. In the end, we were able to get ourselves out, but we appreciated their assistance. Overall, we had a great stay at Timber House in Lyngen and would highly recommend it to others. Anette and Sigve are fantastic hosts who go the extra mile to make their guests feel welcome. The only thing we didn't like was the part where we had to leave the property at the end of our stay.

The house was absolutely stunning! We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The house is beautifully, comfortably, and tastefully furnished. Everything was perfectly prepared for our visit and impeccably clean. The views of the surrounding Norwegian nature from every window are so breathtaking that I spent many hours just sitting by the window with a cup of coffee. The owners are very kind and thoughtful, even considering small details—when an unexpected 50 cm of snow fell in two days, they brought us snow overalls and sledging mats so we could fully enjoy it. We would love to return in the summer if we get the chance.
