Everything—written and spoken—was exclusively in Korean. As a non-Korean speaker, this made communication quite difficult and left me feeling a bit isolated. I found myself relying on Papago and Google Translate for every sentence. It seemed hotel staff were not well-equipped or expecting non-Korean language visitors. Additionally, I encountered difficulties with housekeeping. Their communication was purely in Korean, making it hard to convey my needs. When I tried to reach them, they often asked me to call the front desk, which seldom picked up the phone. This added further frustration to my experience. After checking out, I needed to store my luggage for a few hours. Initially, I was informed that I would have to pay for locker use, but upon discovering all lockers were full, the front desk offered to store my luggage for free. While I appreciated the gesture, I found it rather disappointing that complimentary luggage storage wasn't offered as standard practice, which is common in many other hotels. The hotel’s WiFi coverage is divided into zones. This means you to log in multiple times as you move between different areas, which is quite frustrating. I booked a room with two bathroom but only found out that one had no shower. The on-site shopping arcade features several Korean restaurants and bakeries, which is great if you enjoy local cuisine. Self-service at 24-hour convenience stores only operates in Korean.

Room tempwraturd wax too high and tgere were no amenities like tooth past etc. But minibar was offered free, and breakfast was ok. It would be good to have hotel pool or sauna instead of sharing with all outsider. As well as not enough parking was available.

The hotel is connected to Vivaldi underground mall, which makes it super convenient to walk to and from the ski slopes. Big spacious room, perfect for a family with kids. Clean.

The towels were very small.

Rooms were clean and good sized. Decent facilities.

1). Staff were not that proficient in English. 2). Counter staff told us there was no luggage service, which, for a ski resort is completely ridiculous as everyone has to bring big luggages as ski clothes takes up so much room. We checked out to take a ski lesson and were told they wouldn’t take our luggage. It took us some debating with the staff before they relented and took our big luggage but we had to use lockers for our smaller ones. I’ve skied all around the world and have NEVER had a ski resort that didn’t have luggage service. 3). Hotel didn’t offer any ski packages with hotel guests, again, very unprofessional and shortsighted.

Location

No big towels, Futon beds are not comfortable, too hot on the hitter floors.

Sono calm is recently renovated, so the room consition is quite modern and comfortable. And yet, the room is still dusty, especially the kitchen, above the sink and near the cups. Other than that, everything was great including the family friendly restaurants and underground stores.
