The house spelt of stale cigarettes and the neighbours were smoking outside that drifted into the upstairs bedrooms. The garden and outside area weren't kept well. The bathroom was aged and dated and clearly was a wet room for an elderly person.
BEGood location in a quiet neighbourhood, easy to access, parking in front. Coffee and tea provided. Cozy place to stay.
Booked for five guests, only four beds were made (but the sheets were there). Towels were still wet from being laundered on arrival.
DEDie Gastgeberin war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Haus ist nur wenige Gehminuten von Shops und dem Stadtkern entfernt. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Die Lage war ruhig und eine sehr nette Nachbarschaft.
Die Waschmaschinen hat nicht richtig funktioniert, die Schleuderfinktion ist defekt. Bad und Dusche sind schon abgewohnt und gewöhnungsbedürftig. Garten bzw. Grillmöglichkeiten würden ein Update benötigen.

CHSchöne Schlafzimmer, Wohnzimmer und hübsch gedeckter Esstisch. Parkplatz gleich vor dem Eingang.
Altes Bad und Küche. Kein WC im oberen Stock. Elektrischer Kamin geht leider nicht. Fehlende Glühbirnen.
CHThe contact was nice and we were sent some more fotos. There are options for the beds but we only used the doule beds.
The place is quite compact, but we only used the bedsrooms and the shower. The stair is very steep and one thinks twice about going down in the night for the toulet. The location of the extra beds in the corner did not feel so comfortable.
DEDas Haus verfügt über einen Parkplatz direkt vor dem Eingang. Der Check-in und Check-out sind unkompliziert. Es ist alles Notwendige vorhanden.
Die Waschmaschine ist allerdings in schlechtem Zustand – sie ist sehr laut beim Waschen und trocknet überhaupt nicht.

GBA convenient stop-over location either come off or heading to the Dover ferry to France. A clean property with space to park in front of the house and a secure, private garden at the rear. Easy to find and no hassle access. Tea, coffee, bedding and towels all provided.
Bedrooms are more suited for 2 couples or a couple with smaller children. Tried using the washing machine as we were just heading home from a holiday in France, but the spin wasn't working which meant we had to pack away hand-rung clothes. There was a rotary drier in the garden but it started raining as soon as I hung the clothes out; although that's hardly the host's fault! Of the 7 properties booked for our holiday this was the only one who required an additional payment for bringing our dogs.
