Crystal Abode- Studio Apartment

We didnot stay because it was cancelled at the last hour citing water supply issue

We had a wonderful stay at Crystal Abode. The apartment is perfectly located, with the market just a short walk away — super convenient for anything you need. The space itself is beautifully decorated with a lot of thought and care. The kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of crockery, so whether you prefer cooking your own meals or ordering in from Zomato, everything’s easy and accessible. One of my favorite parts was the terrace — it offers a lovely view and makes for a peaceful spot to unwind in the evenings. Overall, we truly enjoyed our family stay at Mr. Goswami’s place and would happily come back again.

The space was good..also when requested the host was ok with us doing a late check out ( which we didn't do). The Terrace is beautiful with flowers planted.

We had booked this property 2 months ago. So they knew we were 3 guests. The towels kept was only 2 and there were no hand towels. There was no tea or coffee kept for the guests. I have stayed in a lot of air bnbs across the globe but this one was without any complimentary things. The only expected ones were tea and coffee. The water stinked in the bathroom. It was difficult to even wash our faces. The plates kept in the apartment stinked of fish. It was very unhygienic. We ate in the takeaway containers. The spoons had oil on them, looked like they were not even washed before we came. We had booked this property to visit the kamakhya temple and the caretaker/ host was informed that we will leave at 4am to visit the temple but he locked all gates and we were stuck and had to call him to open them for us. Our booking included breakfast but the caretaker didn't give us any and was asking us at 11 Am do we want and when we said yes he informed us that he will have to make it and he was not looking fwd to it. ( The only thing he was ready to give was boiled egg and dry bread). The previous night we had informed the caretaker to prepare our breakfast in the morning. The bathroom drainage (shower) was blocked and this lead to water logging and thus made us feel unhygienic. Its a known normal thing to check the house before giving the house on air bnb, but this apartment is an exception. There was no basic toiletries kept in the bathroom like bathing soap etc. Overall it was a very disappointing experience. Will not recommend.

The place is so aesthetic and beautiful. The owner is really helpful and friendly. And the place is just a dream studio apartment to stay in.
