La Casita del Pescador

Staying in this apartment was a truly exceptional experience. Its location right by the charming port offers not only beautiful views but also convenient access to local shops, cafés, and restaurants serving excellent pizza. The surrounding area is captivating both during the day and at night, with narrow stone streets creating a unique and picturesque atmosphere. The apartment itself is beautifully furnished and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. As a warm welcome, the hosts kindly treated me to a bottle of wine, which was a lovely touch. This is also a great base for exploring nearby gems like Trani, which can be easily reached by train. The journey from Bari Airport using public transport and the train took just 1.5 hours, making this place an even more attractive choice for travelers. Highly recommended!

Everything, the apartment is fabulous so convenient and close to bars and restaurants and a small beach . Lucia who met us there when we arrived was so friendly and helpful offering her advice if we needed anything The apartment was very well equipped washing machine iron pots pans coffee perculator etc etc complimentary bread butter jam juice milk coffee biscuits pasta pasta sauce !!! This is one of the best Booking.com places we have ever stayed in !

Firstly, Giovinazzo is only 20 minutes on the train from Bari, so ideal for people planning on taking a ferry ( 50 bus leaves from near the bus ticket office on the sea-side of the railway station and takes you right to the big blue building in the port where they print your ticket and check you in. ) There’s a fascinating old town and there’s a variety of cafes bars and restaurants. We found the produce market a good place for fruit, vegetables and fresh ricotta too! Secondly, La Casita del Pescador is an easy 20 minute walk on the flat from/to the railway station, and when you arrive, you are blown away by the beautiful view of the little port, with its clean, clear water, the turreted wall of the old town rising above it, and you’re staying right there! Thirdly, the accommodation has everything you need including a kettle, washing machine, decent sized mugs, a fridge, a comfortable bed, nice hot shower and so on. There’s an extra single bed in the lounge if you need it. The wi fi is good, strong and secure. Finally, the hostess, Lucia, is a honey. She explained everything to us and so very kindly had pre-stocked the fridge with milk, butter, fruit juice- even a can of beer and a bottle of rose! There was bread in the cupboard too - all freely available for our use. We highly recommend this beautiful little apartment if you need a base to explore the coast by train.

We liked everything!!! One of the most beautiful and unique airbnbs we have ever stayed in... The family is super welcoming, they pay attention to everything, even the small details. We are so happy that we are returning soon. We recommend this property without any doubt. And right next to the most typical port of Giovinazzo, many places nearby to eat the best ice cream.
