Bela & Vista Penthouse Ljubljana - castle view in old town

Clean, comfortable beds, good location, very quiet

One toilet! (windowless) Toilet is listed in the apartment description (in the bathroom category) so it was a bit of a surprise that there was only one toilet (not located in any of the 2 bathrooms). Operating the air conditioning and some of the lights is rather complicated and not very intuitive. The electric blind above the shower doesn't work and stays half open, therefore eye masks are needed to sleep.

Wonderful host who showed us where everything was. Gave us some great tips on where to eat and things to see. The apartment was in a great location close to the centre and was immaculately clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Location in city center is excellent. Access to Kavalir free shuttle very helpful. Perfect walking location. Also close proximity to taxi stop and grocery store. Wine bar around the corner!

If you have a car, parking can be challenging.

Everything! The location was amazing. In the old town and so close to everything but not to the extent that it would be noisy or crowded with tourists. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen amenities were great. The bathrooms were great too. The host, Lorenka, is wonderful. She is so helpful with everything, check in to how to use apartment. Even booked us a free Kavalir to the bus station at check out! The views from one of the bedrooms were incredible. Couldn’t recommend more!!!

The only downside is that the hot water runs out quite quickly. After one hot shower, we had to wait more than 1 hour for the heat to reach its normal level again. A little frustrating with 3 people sharing 2 showers! We would also suggest getting a proper toaster, we used the oven successfully but it would be easier!

Beautiful apartment, well equipped, very clean, situated in old town.

When booking it was not obvious that there was only one toilet room. Thank goodness each couple had its own shower and sink in their respective bedroom. This made it more manageable.

The location was amazing. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. Ljubljana is a beautiful place to visit we will be back

The only thing that would have been nice to know is there Is only 1 toilet. I presumed having 2 bathrooms/showers there would be 2 toilets. However on saying this wasn't a problem

The view from one of the rooms is Ljubljana Castle, which is beautiful. Then the penthouse itself is so modern and well equipped there is no doubt you will not need to request anything. Even if you did, the host is lovely and will make sure you are comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect, one of the cutest streets in the city and right next to the river area, which is full of restaurants and bars.

There isn't anything significant I can think of but if I pushed myself really hard then I'd say the pillows are not great unless you like them hard (but again, that is a matter of personal taste as I like my pillows soft and fluffy as opposed to hard and, therefore, I am not changing my perfect score for this property).

Top location in the Old Town, close to all restaurants, local markets along the riverside. Lovely apartment. Host was very generous with her time too.
