Cosy Green End Retreat

The house was cosy and homely and had everything I needed for my stay. The location was good as the house is tucked away on a quiet street with easy access to Wakefield, motorways and surrounding areas. Although there was parking available directly outside the property the street is very narrow so it was recommended that I parked further up the road.

I would have preferred to have been able to park directly outside the house - just for ease and safety when returning home late at night or with shopping etc.

Comfortable bed central location nearby country park to walk dog heating and hotwater really good

No sharp knives settee really uncomfortable car parking poor neighbouring property caused concern creepy comments in guest book towels clean but bath sheets would have been better

"Owners were very informative and answered our questions promptly. The house is immaculate, feels like a home away from home, with beautiful decor, and comfortable beds you don't want to leave. There's a beautiful 2-minute walk along a canal, which can lead to a pub. We would definitely recommend it and would rebook if we're in the area."
