Static Caravan situated at Wigbay, Stranraer

Nice location, lovely views, good little site for kids.

Avoid this caravan ! caravan was very disappointing. Says refurbished - but obviously not recently! Carpet dirty and not hoovered properly, cooker top dirty, oven had burnt on food, seal of fridge black mouldy, cup mark on microwave plate, no space in cupboard for our food. Cutlery drawer disgusting, toilet floor needs good scrub, no where to put your toiletries because of owners stuff. Too much personal stuff about and nik naks, maybe a family van but shouldn't be hired out like this. Half open Packets of biscuits and sweets,cereal etc. Razor cover in shower and hair. Spent an hour cleaning before I could feel comfortable. Mouldy outdoor seating !

Enough space for 6 people, Netflix, nice views

The place wasn't very clean when we arrived. There were cooked sausages left in the airfryer, half finished bottle of prosseco on the counter, open packet of bacon and other things in the fridge. Kitchen cupboards were full of owner's food, so no space for our stuff. There was a toothbrush and other toiletries in the bathroom. The carpets were not hoovered and bathroom sink was dirty, so we had to clean it all when we arrived. The place was advertised as having 2 swimming pools on the grounds, softplay and playground. There is only one swimming pool and it was closed over the duration of our stay, so we had to drive to a nearby town and pay for swimming. Soft play was quite dirty and ru down, playground the same and different to the picture posted by the owners Overall, i don't think it was worth the price and we won't be coming back

Loved the shower very powerful, nice homely feel to the caravan .

Dated, poor heating facilities .
