St Richard's Apartment

The apartment was very clean and spacious and quiet. The location was ideal because I was singing in the cathedral both days. There is a lovely view from the windows and the shops are a short walk.

Very comfortable and clean, location was perfect for us with added value of a parking space in the centre of Chichester.

The location is amazing as always with the cathedral properties. The apartment is large and 1st floor so free of passers by in the walkway outside to the cloisters. The bathroom is tiny but functional with noisy plumbing, but it is old Victorian plumbing. The rest of the apartment is well provisioned and very comfortable. Highly recommended

Tiny bathroom but functional

A large and comfortable apartment down a quiet and beautiful walk and just adjacent to the cathedral. It is hard to find a more central location. We found the kitchen to be well equipped. Tip: make use of the gate in the cathedral wall to reach the city center. It is open during the day and can be found to your right when exiting the building.

Bathroom is quite small and oddly situated though certainly workable. It has a maceration pump which is not unusual for old buildings like this. However this pump runs for quite a while, at least a half hour, after each flush. Fortunately you cannot hear the pump from the bedroom. Maybe some adjustment on the pump will reduce the noise.

The location of the property is great, being in the centre of Chichester, so perfect for meals out and exploring the surrounding areas - we were going to the theatre, which was within easy walking distance as well. Was very clean and well equipped.

The mattress was very firm, so may not suit anyone who prefers a soft bed, and the bedroom window rattled whenever you walked anywhere in the apartment. We stay in a lot of Air B&Bs and they normally provide fresh milk on arrival, which is always a nice touch but missing on this occasion!
