Suits Us Taupo Central

The property was clean, well-lit and breezy. Loved the self-check in process where we could check in whenever we arrived instead of needing to arrive during reception hours. A convenient walk to a 4 Square nearby. The host was responsive and resolved the issues we raised in a timely manner. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen, dining and lounge areas were spacious and well lit. We were happy with the air conditioning and laundry facilities and there was plenty of wardrobe space. We appreciated the condiments in the pantry but the soy sauce had expired 2 years ago ... The fridge was large and spacious, the cookware and crockery were of good quality. I reckon a bit of milk in the fridge would've really been the icing on the cake!

The property was a bit tricky to locate with Google Maps as the dentist sign was a bit confusing but we found it eventually. The body wash/soap in the bathroom smelled interesting and the hot water in the shower was a bit touch-and-go. Some of us had ice cold showers and the shower door closes on its own so it's difficult to stay ventilated in the morning. It also got really hot in the bathroom in the morning when the sun was shining straight in. The parking area was a bit of a tight squeeze for a Mitsubishi ASX.

Easy check in, comfortable recliners and location was good.

No dish washing sponge or cloth available. Couldn't find the dust pan either. The bathroom door doesn't stay open and as a result bangs and bangs. There were no fans in the rooms - although not advertised to have fans but the rooms were incredibly hot and the aircon doesn't reach the rooms. The bathroom shower pressure was really bad - hot side and you either ice cold or burn yourself- please address this. The shower also smelt of urine as did the room with the single beds.

The location

It had a very tight turn to park in the parking spot.

The home was very clean and well equipped. Beds were comfortable.

The shower really let it down, hard to get to a constant temperature, had to move the dial carefully. The pressure was poor. Fix up the shower and it will be an excellent place to stay.
