Ardmore Shepherd's Hut

The little shepherds hut was just spectacular. Cute and charming, thoroughly well thought out and planned and decorated, they have fit everything essential into a small space, but it all works very well. There is attention to detail both inside and out, and we would thoroughly recommend the hut to anyone looking for something a bit different, but in all the right ways. We loved it!

Beautiful lovely hut with lots of home comforts. Small but it had everything we needed, plus extra’s like fresh bread, milk and home made granola. Very pretty and peaceful garden. Everything we needed.

We loved the shepherds hut. It’s done to a very high standard, high quality decor, very clean, gorgeous homemade bread and granola provided & We loved the garden too. Unfortunately, the hot water tap wasn’t working but it didn’t affect our stay, wish we could’ve had another night there.

My only criticism would be we weren’t messaged prior to arrival with any details on checking in. We just assumed the keys would be in key box and let ourselves in. There was a note letting us know about the hot tap. We didn’t meet the owner or have contact at all. It’s also very light in the evenings and no black out blinds, if like me you need complete darkness to sleep, don’t forget your eye mask!

I really enjoyed my stay. Apart from being a fun place it is well equipped with fancy coffee machine etc. The shower was good too which was a nice surprise. Reasonably easy to find on a driveway off the numbered road on the right hand side coming towards Lochinver. If you get to the T junction for Lochinver, turn back a short distance. The sign for Ardmore is more easily seen this way.. You even get a free loaf of organic bread. I booked for one person but the bed fits two

Beautifully decorated, surprisingly spacious, well equipped, plenty storage space, privacy, lovely setting. The addition of a welcome basket with treats including a homemade loaf and granola made us feel very welcome although we didn’t meet our hosts during our stay.
