**Amazing Stay at Moustache Hostel, Shoja, Himachal Pradesh** I recently stayed at Moustache Hostel in Shoja, Himachal Pradesh, and what can I say? It was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The good vibe started even before I arrived. Yogesh, the manager, was super kind and made sure I had all the info I needed to get there safely from McLeod Ganj. His guidance was spot on and made my journey so much easier. I rolled into the hostel around 6:30 AM, and wow, the place is magical. There’s this lush green mountain right in front, and the mornings are just so peaceful and serene. There’s also a waterfall about 45 minutes downhill, and you can hear the calming sound of the water no matter where you are on the property. It’s the perfect soundtrack whether you’re chilling in the common area or hanging out at the cafe. I ended up making some great friends while I was there. Our routine was pretty chill: working in the mornings, breaking for a trip to the quiet waterfall where it was just us and nature. No crowds, just pure calm. The food at the cafeteria was amazing—seriously tasty stuff. The staff, all from Himachal, were always smiling and super friendly. Their natural resting face was a smile, how awesome is that? One evening, I explored a nearby village about a 20-25 minute trek away. It’s a small place with a tiny school and about 50 residents. Apple orchards are everywhere, it’s like the Himachali version of Mumbai’s roads. The hostel’s cafe is a cozy spot with board games and painting supplies. The mountain view from there is just pure magic. I stayed in a dorm that was really well-designed, giving everyone their own space and privacy. Not your typical cramped dorm vibes at all. The bathrooms—big, clean, and super hygienic. I had some really considerate dorm mates, which made the stay even better. The staff were always approachable and ready to help with anything I needed.

I also met Shantanu, the property lessor, and the owner, both really nice and down-to-earth guys. It blew my mind to learn that the whole place was built by the owner and his family. I stayed for five nights and honestly wished I could have stayed longer. One day, a group of us from the hostel went to Raghupur Fort. It’s a 40-minute drive plus a 90-minute trek, and totally worth it. Although there were lots of nearby cafes, I didn’t bother visiting any because the views from the hostel's cafe were unbeatable. All in all, Moustache Hostel in Shoja is the kind of place where you don’t just stay, you experience. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to soak in some Himachali magic. **Rating: 5/5**

Rooms were spacious. They were easily accessible. The cafe is huge and has a wonderful terrace. Staff is absolutely outstanding. We also interacted with the owners who live nearby. They were very nice and pleasant to talk to. The manager partner Yogesh is the driving force behind the lovely team. He is resourceful and interactive , gave us a lot of tips. The cafe has a large collection of books all of them worth a read. The delightful kittens are a plus and keep you entertained.

Just a feedback. The room needs functional chappals. It also can benefit from a space for hangers. Food can have more variety. Specially local cuisine. Rest is outstanding.

They should include more items in menu

Host Yogesh was very welcoming, and arranged everything we asked for had one rememberable bonefire with him. Definitely one of the best host i have encountered. Staff was also very generous to help us out
