Laiss Homestay And Spa

I really loved my stay in Laiss Spa! The place is new and clean, the bed so comfortable and the kitchen very handy with all appliances to cook. Also Made and Wayan are great host. Really recommend it! I stayed close to a month! Very quiet and the neighborhood is nice, plenty of food and things to do around .

When there's heavy rain it can feel quite humid, but with AC on it helps

We stayed in this wonderful little family-run homestay just outside the centre of Ubud with our son who had already been staying there for 2 weeks when we arrived from the UK. What a treat! - it's only been open less than a year so few reviews to date but so glad we found it. Three small villas set in a peaceful little courtyard with a pool and shared kitchen. The owners, Made & Wayan, were so lovely - nothing was too much trouble - from organising taxis, arranging washing, buying fruit from the market for us, providing excellent massages in their spa attached to the homestay, storing our luggage and looking after our son's motorbike whilst we had a few days elsewhere...we enjoyed it so much that we have booked additional nights after our trip to Lembongan Island. The whole homestay was spotlessly clean and well-designed with great attention to detail. Each villa has an extra large double bed with a well-equipped ensuite, full size fridge and terrace with a table and chairs. There are plenty of places to eat and a small supermarket within a short walking distance. Also so many activities and tours available to book locally. Cars/taxis have to drop at the top of the hill but it is only a 5-10min walk and Wayan will meet you and help with your luggage. All in all a great introduction to Bali. Thank you Made & Wayan.

If we had to say anything the bed was a little too hard for our taste but that hasn't stopped us from booking extra nights or highly recommending this wonderful, excellent value place to others.

Construction next door was so noisy that I had to move.

Location is great, the room is big and has a fridge , aircon works well, good shower pressure and hot water. Nice pool area and share little kitchen. And massage (good ‘real’ massage) is just next door ! Highly recommended Laiss!

Construction noise around the area (as many places in Ubud/Bali), not the property fall, but can be annoying if you are looking dor a very quiet place.

Laiis Homestay felt like home during our week-long stay, and we loved it. Tucked away on a bit more quiet street accessible only by scooters or foot, it provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of central Ubud while still being conveniently close to yoga studios and all the main attractions. The street have many good restaurants The rooms were super clean, modern, and comfy, with stable WiFi that made it easy for my husband to work. The pool was beautiful, perfect place to cool off after a warm day. The kitchen is also new with all the basic stuff you need, What really made our stay exceptional, though, were the incredible hosts. They were warm, respectful of our privacy, and always willing to go above and beyond to help. When my partner fell ill with Bali Belly, they arranged medical assistance for us and even brought him boiled eggs when he was too weak to leave the room. We can't recommend this place enough

A perfect example of a great ubud guesthouse. Location is incredible down a beautiful laneway. Large rooms and huge bathrooms that were well ventilated. Hot water. Very clean. Incredible hospitality. No mould or smells even during the wet season. I wont stay elsewhere in ubud.

I cannot think of anything honestly. Maybe the WiFi could be a tiny bit more stable but I do lots of stuff online and had no real problems at all.

It‘s such a beautiful place. Was able to fully relax at Laiss - it’s super quiet for Ubudian standards, hehe. Loved the pool and the atmosphere of the homestay. The room and bathroom are very spacious. The hosts are a very cute and caring couple.

The host was amazing! Although the place is not accessible by car, the hosts helped us with our bags. Also, I got a bit unwell on my trip and they were helpful in transporting me to a medical clinic. Great place to stay!
